I'd probably be rather steamed, too. Hell, I cringe whenever the donations announcer and the runner start talking at the same time, resulting in that awkward few seconds of silence. I can't imagine how infuriating it'd be to try running and have some guy (unknowingly or not) being a douche and throwing you off like that.
