I do actually want a story DLC for GTAV so bad, it's such a shame that GTAO is such a success on consoles because imo it's utter crap.
It's because of the "novelty" of online multiplayer in a city like san andreas I guess. It has a few things to do, but I don't get it either.
Although I disagree - this was a well put together video, and I am sure you are going to get a fair following if you continue making videos. Nice job!
The Sims 3: Ambitions is my favorite, weirdly enough. It added what folks have been wanting since the dawn of the series in 2000: The ability to go to work and do jobs in the community that require player involvement and exploration rather than just grinding skill levels and disappearing for 8 hours. They added so much stuff, skills, and jobs that it was like a whole new game.
I disagree with the sentiments of IV's story being good and memorable - I've played through it many times over the years and I couldn't tell you a single moment that stood out for me in the story. It didn't feel like the characters developed at all throughout it (especially Niko, for all the praise he gets) and... well yeah, I've talked about this a million times. Granted, V's story wasn't a magnum opus of video game storytelling, but I had a lot more fun with it and there were some moments I really liked from it (Bury the Hatchet). On topic though, really liked the video - editing was great and the points you had were really good and didn't feel too biased in either direction.
I actually liked GTA IV's darker tone, morality choices and relationship building. I sometimes wish GTA V incorporated some of it. Not saying GTA V is lacking without it, but I think it would be nice to have a few more characters to hang out with or even the dating could play a bigger part.
i really fail to see why one of the biggest compaints players have about GTA V is the vehicle handling. I get that all right, always on ABS and traction control leads to a grippy af car. But to say GTA IV's handling and physics were better? That's what baffles me. GTA IV's cars had horrible handling and amazingly over exaggerated physics. The balancing points on the cars were dead center, the cars handled as if they were a boat on water, they bobbed and weaved and often caused abhorrent control such as spin outs at low speed, or things like suv's flipping. Then to say GTA V's is horrible and bad. GTA V's car handling is actually incredibly good. The only actual complaints i personally have towards it is that traction control is a constant always on thing. But The actual handling is amazingly accurate to real life, how cars work and how things work in unison. For instance, double clutching was reintroduced a bit ago and is a real thing that can be done with a proper car. If youre running a strict racing car cirucuit style, most will dump money on modding the car to have the highest rank mods. Thats actually awful to do as it counteracts a few aspects for the race. Like using a low suspension when youre doing a street race. There's actual aerodynamics going on with the car so spoilers actually matter a lot. Wheel types can drastically change car handling and things like turbos are finely tuned and if you just slap on on anything you will often find you royally fuck up the cars initial acceleration and have to really take into account turbo lag. GTA IV's physics were fun to look at, but were honest to god awful for cars. The cars have no weight to them and theres no traction at all.
