wow a movie with colors?
It looks like it could be a good movie, let's just hope they haven't shoehorned in any unnecessary romance or any of that bullshit.
lol, this will definitely happen, don't even expect that it won't.
What is going on with all those weird virgin-esque girls they are transporting?
Mad Max is one of my favourite documentaries.
i love mad max. nothing fills my murder boner and my car boner at the same time like mad max.
Oh god yes, This will be great!
Wow. How the fuck did Tom Hardy go from this: To this: He looks like a completely different person in every movie he's in. It's incredible.

He really goes the full hog when applying himself to his roles.
Can't we all just get beyond thunderdome?
i think the best example of how to not do cgi is the hobbit
So they were supposed to just build a life-sized puppet of Smaug or what the CGI in the Hobbit is fuckin brilliant
did you see that lizard [editline]d[/editline] wtf were they tattooing on his back something about genitals and being a universal donor
If you look closely at the crude tattoo they put on him, it's all details relating to his physical health and psyche, also "heals fast" is a pretty good indicator that he would probably face some abuse in the future they had planned for him. They were basically going to sell him or make him into a slave, since they could probably get a damn good price for capturing the well known Mad Max.
lol, this will definitely happen, don't even expect that it won't.
Well yeah, it probably will, which makes me sad :(

this cinematography looks really good tbh
I was thinking that was a trailer for the new mad max game I'm pleased as fuck though that there'll be a good mad max film too
Believe they're holding off on releasing the game until the movie comes out so at least we're getting closer.
Believe they're holding off on releasing the game until the movie comes out so at least we're getting closer.
I keep getting this itching feeling that the game isn't going to come out.
From the production photos it looks like they forgot that Mad Max was set in the 80s. There were a number of 90s vehicles. Also I really hope that isn't actually a robot arm
I miss Mel Gibson already.
they tried man it just wasn't working out
Did they ever state the films were set in the 80s?
It was never explicitly stated, but Mad Max 1 was released in 1979 and the intro screen stated that it was "a few years from now". A global disaster, implied to be nuclear war, was said to have occurred.
did you see that lizard [editline]d[/editline] wtf were they tattooing on his back something about genitals and being a universal donor
The tattoo used to be the organ donor card. Sadly a lot of people don't opt for the tattoo any more.
So they were supposed to just build a life-sized puppet of Smaug or what the CGI in the Hobbit is fuckin brilliant
did you forget the [sp]gold[/sp] scene at the end that entire sequence has weird cgi, especially when they reveal the [sp]gold statue[/sp], it looked like a pre-rendered cutscene from a ps2 game
lol, this will definitely happen, don't even expect that it won't.
The director and producer is the same guy who did the last 3 movies. He owns the rights to the franchise. He has say over everything. I'm surprised at how close to original style and look it is, if it wasn't for the CGI this could almost pass for a sequal released 35 years ago.
love the color palette too
So they were supposed to just build a life-sized puppet of Smaug or what the CGI in the Hobbit is fuckin brilliant
probably should've clarified that I saw the first one, never saw Smaug. didn't want to bother with it. i was referring to the entire look of the movie, just looked incredibly silly to me
you guys forget a lot of those trucks, explosions and shit, are actual vehicles. a huge amount of what you saw in that trailer is real props.
One thing I hope they keep is how absolutely devastating guns are as a result of how scarce they are. Max gets like ten shotgun shells in the entirety of Road Warrior and spends half of it threatening people with an empty gun, and then there's the scoped revolver. That's actually what I'm hoping the game will do as well.
So they were supposed to just build a life-sized puppet of Smaug or what the CGI in the Hobbit is fuckin brilliant
uhm it's clear that Smaug (the dragon, not the whole film's cg) was great. I think that's more referring to the obviously out-of-place CG like the ridiculous spinning barrel riding attack dwarf sequence or the white orc

A lot of those crashes look like, at the very least, they were embellished with CGI. Not like the car crashes of the original films. I really like the look of this. It's looks like a more stylized and perhaps slightly more action filled version of the first two movies. I'm a scker for post apocalyptical movies, and the Mad Max series have always had a lot of charm.
