the new StarFox being a fresh remake sounds good in the sense that it could be designed to reboot the series with a classic formula to net a new audience, before expanding with sequels
however, it really just looks like a prettier version with the soul sucked out of it

Watching the last fight in TP now, crenando still doesn't hurt even in hero mode, I don't think I lost even one heart in the original.. What a disappointment, regular enemies do more damage.

I vaguely remember sometime last September or October during one of his Mario Maker streams when he mentioned there would be another SMBX level contest in 2016, and that a Mario Maker contest would probably only be a small bonus.
Not sure if he mentioned anything else recently about it though.
