He should have gone out and donated locally, which was the whole point of the charity KY was trying to promote.
I felt kind of bad for him. The whole point of the [url=http://dungeonmans.com/hungerclock/faq.html]Stop the Hunger Clock[/url] charity was going out and making a difference in your local communities, where the bigger more well known charities you would normally donate to online wouldn't be able to reach. I had to go get some sleep and left about half way through the stream, but he had only reached 4 altruists out of his goal of 30 by the time I left. He said he realized 30 was probably more than he should have expected, chat was filled with DOOM memes for at least 10 minutes straight at one point and he sounded a little upset right after all of this was going on. I really, really hope things picked up after I left, and I honestly feel bad that I wasn't able to go out and make a difference yesterday.
Not to say I don't appreciate BK's donations, the man is insanely generous with his money, but it kind of defeats the purpose of what KY set out to do in the first place with this particular stream.
