I love Vinny's personality, even when he plays the most mundane shit I find myself enjoying his comments. Wish I knew someone as down to earth and cool as him.
man thats embarrassing now vinny associates facepunch with second life furries
This forum isn't full of Second Life furries?
This forum isn't full of Second Life furries?
Vinny doesn't strike me as a furry hating guy, he mostly doesn't care / has some furry friends and fans so he just acts like whatever about it, at least he seemed pretty humorous when that gamedev put a furry+diaper fetish porn comic on a game specifically for him. But in general we could say this about most things Vinny would hate, he doesn't, he is old enough to not give a shit. Except spicy memes, he likes murdering those. [editline]16th February 2015[/editline] guise, vinny is on
man thats embarrassing now vinny associates facepunch with second life furries
Funnily enough i used to be in the TS with the furry that said the "babunes in da sky". He has a speech disorder or something because he always talked like that. He got pretty upset when a friend showed him the video. I don't think he played anything other then SL

Any game you guys want to see corrupted? If you guys remember Vinny's Pokemon Emerald corruptions and the SM64 corruptions, they were sent to him by Weinerless Steve. Steve used methods I had figured out to make them corrupt significantly better and sent them to Vinny. Now that the RTC corrupter is a lot more stable, I'm planning on working on some corruptions with Steve and I'm also planning on finding a way to make N64 more corruptable/stable/consistent. I already found one method but it only works with a limited number of games. But yeah, I don't know what games to work on so if any of you have ideas for something to start with that could come out amusing, I'm open to any ideas. Doesn't have to be N64.
If you guys ever managed to do Super Mario galaxy I think I'd be set for life :v:
See if you can get him to corrupt the GBA version of the Doom games.
If you guys ever managed to do Super Mario galaxy I think I'd be set for life :v:
The only GAMECUBE corruption I've succeeded at was breaking a few textures in Luigi's Mansion. The moment I hit any trigger zone, the game would just crash with a "read error" message. Maiddog's corrupter does have support for Wii, but I highly doubt I'll be able to get much out of it. The other issue with corrupting Wii and Gamecube games is that it has to extract the files from an iso, corrupt the ones you told it to corrupt, and then put them back into the ISO. This takes significantly more time than even N64. You've probably seen how much Vinny has to do to get anything out of the N64. Now imagine that but every time you press "corrupt" you have to wait 30 seconds for the file to save and load. [editline]19th February 2015[/editline]
See if you can get him to corrupt the GBA version of the Doom games.
GBA corrupts amazingly, arguably better than SNES in my opinion. I had never even thought about some of those ports. This has given me an idea. [editline]19th February 2015[/editline] Well I was gonna do some for various doom ports to see what would happen, but I'm running into the very consistent problem of the hud just going to garbage before anything in the world does. Probably wouldn't work out very well anyways due to the sprite/3d mix
I know the SNES version of Doom tends to freeze rather than give any decent corruptions Though that wasn't done via the Vinesauce corrupter, rather a script the streamer made himself.

Maybe all the GBA ports of big name titles? Like Sonic the Hedgehog and all the Mario Advance games.

AFAIK no one has really tried to corrupt that game.
