For some reason people have an [I]extremely[/I] hard time reproducing platforming physics with tools like Game Maker, MMF, Flash, and the like. The only things that consistently hit the mark are C++ and C#.

Actually it's because people who are too stupid/young to know how to do good platforming physics are also too stupid/young to know how to code. Making platforming games is easier in Game Maker/MMF/Flash, but you need to understand how to design game physics, even if you don't know how to code. If you fuck it up, you at least have a game that runs, though, which is why so many shitty game maker / MMF / Flash games exist. If you don't know what you're doing when making a C++ / C# game, the game flat out won't run or will crash like crazy, so the only people who end up releasing games using C++ / C# are ones that know what they're doing in the first place.

To be fair, if you don't use an already functional example, you're probably going to be building those things from [I]scratch[/I].

All Star is in G flat major. In The End is in E flat minor, which is G flat major's relative minor key (same notes, different "central" note). On top of that, both songs have similar structures and tempos, so not much editing is required to mash them together.
