I kinda wish Tomadachi Life stayed dead personally. The games content is out and it's basically just Vinny looking at the islanders and going "Haha that's so zany yup" for a hour and a half.

That would work- I thought it was nice that at the very least he came up with a ending for it and a "final act" so to speak that way people wouldn't feel too jipped about it just vanishing. Hell I understand him bringing it back for a special episode as a donation incentive for the charity stream- it's just I kinda wish it stayed like that. Just a bonus.
When he's playing games that are a billion times more interesting like Bayonetta or MGS seeing tomadochi is just like come on, it's not that endearing anymore and 50 videos of "ha ha sponge is sad" has run it all into the ground.

As a aside I'm not hating the fact sponge is a character, the mario hack was funny and seeing what the community does with said characters is amusing at times. It's just in Tomadachi there's nothing else for them.

If anything, I think it's way more boring just watching him play straightforward story mode games like Bayonetta or Metal Gear.

I'm not sure how watching him play through Bayonetta or MGS would be more boring considering the fact it actually has things for him to react to and offers a bunch of silly absurd situations. It's like saying "I'd rather watch a guy talk to some dry paint then go to a party with a friend."
I enjoy watching him play story games because I like watching [I]him[/I] stream. I live games for the first time vicariously through his whimsical ways, that I would otherwise never bother playing/buying the system(s) for.
