Last I heard, Chatango has gotten much better since the Twitch chat became the default. Before that though, Chatango was just disgusting. Lots of shitty drama (usually between "high brow" members of the Chatango) as well as the usual meme parroting. Not to mention how it had the ability to customize the background of your messages, which led to a bunch of loli and, how Vinny usually describes ugly colors, clown vomit.
Twitch seems to have less shitty drama, but more meme parroting, so I guess it's more tolerable.
If anyone was around for the Youtube test stream, the Youtube chat was even worse than the Twitch chat, despite having a smaller amount of people. I swear, if I see [B]RAREPEPES[/B] with that frog emoticon spammed again, I'm going to vomit and die simultaneously.
I've been watching complete stream of Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 by Joel and oh my god that's one of the most hilarious stuff I've seen in a while. I couldn't stop laughing at some of the parts.

I'm installing RCT2 and 3 now because of Joel. I've never played these games but want to completely fuck around in them now.
I was so depressed when I went to grab my RCT2 case after all these years so I can get OpenRCT2, only to find out my disk is missing. Guess I won't relive those childhood memories for a while.
I noticed something from that RCT2 video, the name box looked so different, am I missing something here?
Every fucking time Joel says "GRAND DAD" I can't help but laugh. Even after the 100th time.

The original uses a Windows prompt, while OpenRCT2 apparently has a built-in prompt.

Someone donated $50 so he could get a replacement for the $80 cable he mentioned during the AMA I think. He should probably just get a new mic in general considering he's said multiple times it's held together with electrical tape (which is visible whenever he facecams).

Hate to really put in any negativity, but switching to Chatango probably wouldn't fix things. In fact, it may end up making it worse as the Chatango chat has a lot of pointless inner drama that the Twitch chat doesn't.
Besides, people who watch streams and chat will always flock to where they think they will be noticed by the streamer, so if news got out that Joel was focusing more on Chatango than the Twitch chat, then a lot of his fanbase would just migrate over to Chatango.
We live in a time where everyone thinks they're important and that they need to be noticed by the people they idolize, even if it's in a negative light through stupid things like spamming the chat.
