In there defense, you can fuck up the Genocide run REALLY easily if you don't know what you're doing.
Joel used up all of the best healing items obliviously so the first "hard" fight is going to be REALLY REALLY REALLY hard. I would not be surprised if this forces him to restart. Or if someone has to send him a new save file.

I volunteered to mod the DYKGaming stream chat once. JonTron was on it. It was like, a few months after he had left Game Grumps and all that drama was stirring around it. You can imagine the chat.

I think the main reason why Joel felt betrayed was cause [sp]he thought it was the literal end of the fight, when in actuality it was just a diversion before the REAL battle began.[/sp] In the end it was better for the sake of comedy, because I'm gonna be laughing at that for a while.
