Well, admittedly I don't use them for every one of my accounts, but I use them for the very important ones and other services that have had breaches before.
Every password is different, and is completely random.
Something tells me Joel and KY are going to take some massive breathers after this whole mess though. I wouldn't blame them. I'd want to take a break for a bit too if I came close to losing a lot of my work.

Now I'm not too informed on how password managers work and maybe I have no idea what I'm talking about, but IMO using a password manager that just stores all your passwords on a company's server (like LastPass) is kind of dumb. All you are doing is putting your passwords and usernames in one location. I would never trust any server with that kind of information, no matter how secure they claim to be. The only time I would use a password manager is if it stores its stuff on my hard drive.

Hence why I use KeePass, and all of the copies of my passwords are stored locally.

I'll have to give that a shot then. I've always been one to just write my passwords down and hide it somewhere but i do like the idea of having completely bonkers passwords that i don't have to remember.

this is a good time to chime in that you can still have passwords synced between devices and not use any servers beyond your own hard drives (you could sync your keepass or equivalent program's password file between computers using bittorrentSync)

The worst thing that could happen is towel becoming a meme. Like, whenever a technical malfunction happens, people are going to blame "towel" in the chat.
I know I probably should stop posting on the subject since it's going to be over soon, but I was on Soundcloud just looking for stuff to listen to, and completely by chance I found a Towel account that used to belong to someone named DJ Fruitsnacks (according to the bandcamp links if they weren't edited). It had Undertale and Vinesauce tracks.
