I would honestly do stream of something simple because if he is planning anything spectacular it will be real shit show for being his first stream after what happened.
Joel's pretty much playing Fallout 4 right now. He'd probably stream it, but with at least 3 members of the Vinesauce crew already doing so (Vinny being one of them), it would honestly be sort of pointless.
Just give him some time. As impatient as I am in wanting to spend some time with Uncle Jorbel, I want him to stream when he wants to. Streamers tend to put out better content when they actually feel like streaming, and not when they stream just because their fanbase is practically demanding they do so.
I'd rather Joel play the game in his own terms than the fanbase.
You can't give respect to the game if you're arm is being twisted into playing something that you arent in the right mindset or mood for, or just generally have no interest in playing. If you are going to give the game respect, the streamer bring out quality content because they are able to enjoy the experiance themselves.
And that's the best kind of content.
I've not played Undertale yet, nor seen Joels playthrough of it (because i want to play it myself first) but from what i've read. It might be one of his best playthroughs because he was able to enjoy it and give the game that respect.
He's probably waiting for something new to crop up so when he returns he's not as swarmed with Towel memeshit.
I mean I'd said before that Joel seemed to be enjoying streaming less and more tired of the community's strange level of stupid drama and crap. I figured it was a matter of time before he decided to take some time off just for himself. With how they reacted to Towel, that may well have pushed him over the edge for a vacation.

Hylics is frickin' weird, man... I'm watching the VoD, and I'm almost convinced that the main character is actually just on an acid trip, that by the end of the game he's gonna wake up in a bathtub 5 miles outside of Tijuana. Or worse, wake up dead in a bathtub 12 feet underneath Tijuana.
