A few weeks ago he was talking to KY about the game and IIRC he said he might play it eventually but the aggressiveness of the fanbase (things like bringing up Undertale in the chat even when there's nothing going on that has anything to do with it) has turned him off on playing the game anytime soon.

I think that he is going to wait until it stops being spammed everywhere as memes. I think I got the same mindset kinda about undertale as Vinny, of course I don't know for sure.
honestly, if he were to play Undertale then i'd say turn on sub-mode, or extreeemee slow mode because past experience of being in Joel's UT stream has taught me that the chat is fucking terrible
