Ok so I had a weird dream last night and I'd like to share it.
It was that Joel had died, but in the dream he had passed away like 2 months ago.
I was reading forum posts of people who kept going to his stream and wait for him, only to remember that he was dead and get sad.
Then Vinny and KY were together IRL and had a stream where they remembered all the fun times they had with Joel and how much they missed him.
When I eventually woke up I couldn't quite convince myself that he wasn't dead so I grabbed my phone and went to his twitter to see when his most recent post was.

Joel, in the unlikely scenario that you read this - I recommend you always try to save the villagers in God Hand, they give you cool stuff. The guy who got bitten by the poison chihuahua, for example, awarded Dragon Kick, an amazing roulette skill.
I think the Dragon Kick is unobtainable now because you can't backtrack. However, don't quote me on that, i think you might be able to buy it later on.

You can.
The only technique I think you'll truly suffer for missing is Yes Man Kablaam (which makes certain boss battles significantly easier).
Doesnt Yes Man Kablaam fill up your god hand meter instantly when it eventually connects? I dont think i ever used it.
I really want to go back for a Hard playthrough now.
Is there a good PS2 emulator that can run this? I remember buying this game at Family Video for like 2$ when I was 12 but never playing it

No but it fills it up some, stuns enemies for a small period of time, and can be dodge-canceled.

Woah I wasn't expecting 1.4.0 to be such a huge improvement.
So far it's running as good as Dolphin on my PC. I've only 1 game with negligable slowdown during a cutscene and flicker on a load screen

Yeah, before 1.4.0 came out, I used development builds and I could play most of the Ace Combat 4 fullspeed on software rendering with outside camera, it's definetely more optimized than before.
