I think Joel's is my favourite Undertale playthough out of all of them. It's so nice to see him get so attached to the characters, you can really tell he loved the shit out of this game.

I really dislike DD.
I liked darkest dungeon, but the game was always designed to rip your butthole harder the longer you played it. With all the updates its gotten now the game only exists to break your spirit. I get thats what its always been going for but it doesnt exactly make me want to play it.
Its basically set at nightmare difficulty with no easy or normal

the difficulty is fine it's just there's no limits on how hard the RNG can kick your ass at one time. i assume they're smart enough to make it so tough enemies can only get so many dodges/crits in one encounter so it's not [I]entirely[/I] up to chance, but that doesn't help if the level decides to be full of nothing but extremely tough fights back to back or your party gets hungry every two minutes
I love the idea of darkest dungeon, and just played it for a bit. And I made it all the way to the end of the level and was able to heal up with no status issues and walk into the boss fight. Everyone in my party got stun locked and died within 3 turns of the first one who died.
The idea, the sounds, the art is amazing. But they need to take a look at how everything balances out and re do a lot of shit.

He should have stayed on t2_trip, it is a great map to mess around with.
The balance of Darkest Dungeon is fine, it just needs you to learn the mechanics and do things efficiently. Bleed to those weak to bleed, blight to those weak to blight, and always kill the more dangerous enemies before trying to heal.
Even since playing it myself I can't watch Vinny due to the silly mistakes he makes, but even without reading any of the stats the game gives you he's done alright so it can't be too bad.
Vinny must be really sad about Bowie's passing.
