Vinny has R9K enabled at all times (and I think 10 second slow mode) and even with 5k viewers the chat isn't so fast you can't read anything yet messages are unique enough that it's not just a wall of the same few letters or emotes over and over again. It's a nice balance, but I think that might also be in part because the Vinesauce community is just very nice in general. Like an oasis in the toxic wasteland of popular twitch streams.
honestly thought this gdq was pretty relaxed this year. i mean, it's gonna have all the awkwardly high production value scripted nonsense but there were some genuinely great moments and i didnt hear about any runners getting banned this time around so i'd call it a success
losing non sub twitch chat is something i couldnt really care less about, in submode it was spammy enough to be entertaining but slow enough that it couldnt just become a cancerous cesspool
