There were no disclaimers anywhere either that the project was satire. All I can say really is that I have been following drama about this for a couple of weeks month, and from watching this guy constantly try and make people believe it was real and not a joke product it was pretty apparent that he was just trying to get people to throw money at it so he could troll said people in order to make some funny youtube videos. He had a a whole team of developers, and virtually all of them ended up having nothing to do with the whole thing. He basically used pictures and names of random people on his facebook friends list without permission, and gave them developer positions like "sound design", etc, causing these people to get doxxed by angry bronies. Said people got pissed as hell and demanded to know what the fuck was going on. He also recruited some girl from the fandom and commissioned her to make the pony art. She was led to believe it was a genuine game, and when she figured out it was all bullshit she left the project. He responded by sending a takedown notice to her deviant art site, claiming she stole his art. Their commission contract clearly stated that the art would stay hers no matter what, so his claim is bullshit, but in order to dispute it she has to send him her personal information in case he wants to press legal matters, which she obviously really does not want to do. So she is pretty fucked. Don't believe a single word this guy tells you. The whole satire and joke thing is extreme damage control and just attempts to salvage some 'lulz' from a failed attempt to troll a couple of furry neckbeards. This guy got doxxed to hell and back on 4chan and he turned out to be some creep living on food stamps who regularly ripped off his own fans to pay the rent. He should get a job instead of trying to be 'le funny troll guy' on youtube.
