Also find it interesting that he managed to somehow get the game to ignore that he didn't use the suit charger in Eli's lab.

Here is his blog post on the episode http://accursedfarms.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=8628
Freeman's Mind! There ended up being a longer delay on this than I intended, but I don't think the quality was hurt any. I'm still having some hang ups with the Source engine, as there are multiple behind the scenes fixes going on with this episode. Primarily, demo playback seems to have no consistency at all. Depending on what values I use when playing it back, I can have a combination of stuttering for the following situations: -Turning the mouse -Jumping -NPC movement -some dynamic objects playing animations -Cutscene camera movement So far, I've mostly minimized the first three, but can't seem to have EVERYTHING play back smoothly. Stuff like this is why I abandoned the Source engine for my other projects. If anyone has greater insight as to how demo playback works, you're welcome to contact me, though if you have suggested values, you may want to test them yourself in HL2 first. Next up for June will be another Game Dungeon and more Freeman's Mind.

"Oh and a lot of those Einstein here guys". Brilliant.
Einstein hair guys*
[sp]I just have a picture in my head of Alyx crying over Eli's corpse, screen fading the black[/sp], and Gordon saying in his head something highly inappropriate about procreation being out of the question for at least another hour or 2.
Woah, woah! Spoilers, man! It's only been a decade since Episode 2 was released!

It's always been optional.
Makes a typo, gets boxes & an epic zinger. At least I think it's a typo? They're on mobile.
Damn I just realized you guys thought I was referring to episode 2 of this series and not half life 2 episode 2 :boxhide: [editline]30th May 2017[/editline]
But it's already at episode 2 :vs:
but I'll let you have this zinger for thinking I meant this series and not the games, THIS TIME
Here is his blog post on the episode http://accursedfarms.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=8628
I'm still not quite certain why he is so adamant on using demo playback, when he could just straight record his footage and save himself a lot of trouble. Only thing I can think of is he tweaks the demos after the fact, to get everything exactly the way he wants it to be.
I'm still not quite certain why he is so adamant on using demo playback, when he could just straight record his footage and save himself a lot of trouble.
He likes good motion blur which requires him recording it at a high framerate.
Like him constantly bumping into things or him trying to E the hoola-girl but opening a cabinet instead.
That actually really surprised me because for all these years I had no idea that there was a cabinet there that could be opened.
I thought we'd only get to the part where he gets knocked out by combine, this was a huge treat. Only thing I'm unsure about in this new series is this angle where he's having Freeman not know or remember any of his former co-workers except Kleiner. I wonder how he's going to tackle instances where they bring up shit like how barney and gordon used to do vent crawling races, and shit like that.

when he finishes hl2 ep 2 and we are all brains in jars, valve will release hl3 and the fourth age of goron'go gullah shall rule over our feeble minds. the prophecy states it will be 666 years into the dark future and in the outside of siberia, in the floating necropolis of gallakathrix.
I never gave this a chance before, it's pretty funny. His voice and attitude reminds me of Todd in Bojack Horseman (voiced by Aaron Paul).
