The fuck, health care and tax was not the reason the Greek, British and Roman empire fell.
They never said it was.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stereotypes_of_East_Asians_in_the_Western_world
that says nothing about any modern stereotype about asians invading its actually a common assumption that china is going to become the world's next superpower because of their growing economy and military it doesnt have to be racist
the way they are portrayed in that video, with the evil smile and the "WE OWN THEM NOW" followed by "WE HAVE TO STOP THIS!" has yellow peril written all over it choose to ignore it if you wish, but it's bleeding obvious
I live with mainland chinese every day. You people call the people in this movie "evil"... but I must tell you, many of the FoB beijingren I know would love to act in this. They actually believe this to a tee. Also, mainland chinese from the big cities, especially beijing LOVE Mao. Its like here, everyone has a favourite hero, cpt america, president, superman, etc. No matter who you are in mainland china, the government trys to make sure that Mao is your number one hero. When Mao first took over, they actually released "the red book", which is literally the bible with any reference to Jesus, god, father, holy spirit replaced with Mao. :v: Even in spoungebob in mainland the "capitain" is replaced with mao :v: ... Besides, everyone knows that India is going to surpass china soon.
So if China will control the US by 2030, we will have floating screens in the air, and glowing microphones? Awesome.
What "government take-overs of private businesses" is this movie referencing anyway?
The ultimate irony is that in the video/commercial, Beijing has basically assumed Western culture (ipads, clothing, etc). China may own America but the Western spirit lives on.
What "government take-overs of private businesses" is this movie referencing anyway?
China just nationalized all their mines. US government almost took over several banks, also medical system. I think they were trying to be projective. It turns out working in jeans is a great deal more comfortable and efficient than working in robes. Besides, every nation is trying to kick the microsoft/apple addiction and make their own unique OS right now. Also they just own parts of america, that doesn't mean they've conquered all of western civilization :v: (your welcome Brits, Australians, Canadians, other non american western countries)
That was really flashy for a commercial against unnecessary spending.
So if China will control the US by 2030, we will have floating screens in the air, and glowing microphones? Awesome.
Let's make sure they take over more quickly. I want whatever they are using today.
no your choosing to make it out to be something its not because its chinese you want to make it out to be that these guys are racist, when really it has nothing to do with race at all
By your logic nothing is racist, because it just depends on how you portray someone's thoughts and actions.
By your logic nothing is racist, because it just depends on how you portray someone's thoughts and actions.
no there is racist shit out there this wasnt one of them there was a different reason than race for this video if it was made 30-40 years ago it would be the exact same fucking thing except with the soviet union
I saw this ad on CNN and it made me realize that news agencies shouldn't be allowed to run partisan ads
Images and depictions of Mao are still a very common sight in modern China. You'll find large images of him at all public offices and buildings, Libraries, Universities, even schools and super markets.
I've been there over 10 times. And I've only seen him at the big square in Beijing. [editline]2nd April 2011[/editline] Oh I also saw his preserved body, it was quite cool.
no your choosing to make it out to be something its not because its chinese you want to make it out to be that these guys are racist, when really it has nothing to do with race at all
stereotyping isn't the same as racism
Ha i needed a good laugh. China owning the US. Its like a Rat winning in a fight against a human.
Ha i needed a good laugh. China owning the US. Its like a Rat winning in a fight against a human.
You can laugh but if they wanted to they could, but there are a lot of reasons why they wont.
stereotyping isn't the same as racism
racial stereotyping is
Wisconsin has been spamming this commercial like a motherfucker.
racial stereotyping is
Are you saying it's racist to say that all race A like food B?
Are you saying it's racist to say that all race A like food B?
for all intents and purposes yea technically there are differences between stereotyping and racism, but they are incredibly interrelated and generally go hand in hand
