This guy sounds like a cranky bitch rather a game critic this time around. I usually enjoy his reviews, but when he embarrasses himself by insulting a game that is obviously great and picking out aspects of it as bad when they are really good I'm not as amused. He complained about every aspect of the game pretty much because it was not perfect. He even complained about the scenery which happened to be remarkably detailed, accurate, and good looking. God this guy sucks.

I either can take his reviews as some kind of entertainment with all the obviously one sided points he makes and more importantly the way he always seems to change his expectations of a video game in a direction that doesn't let the game any chance overall

Ince argueing about the first is fruitless I rather take it as his opinion and that would leave no other impression of the person Yahzee than someone who finds joy in nitpicking for the sake of nitpicking.

That way I enjoy his videos much more.
Do people not understand that his reviews are about entertainment? How many people would watch it if he said "This game is good" and just went on describing how good the game is? The whole point of Zero Punctuation is the entertainment of a guy going on a rant about all of the negative things in a game, no matter how small they are.

Its funny when you pick apart games that have obvious flaws and drawbacks. When you poke fun at a decent game making statements that are just plain wrong and generally backwards, it's not that funny. He's still a game critic regardless of the clear humorous overtone of his presentation and he's supposed to point out commonly agreed upon funny/annoying/lacking parts of the game not the best aspects of the game then say they suck...
Even if you think he is serious, stop raging at someone's opinion.

For a person who would want a perfect game, yes all those points are valid.
However, it is those very points that makes me love the game so much.
cant say I agree with ANYTHING in this review, never experienced any glitches, never bugged out, never got a black screen, he complains about being far away from a save point when you can save anywhere via campsite, sure walking up steps and doorways can be fiddly at times but this game has the most alive gameworld Ive ever experienced in my 15+ years of gaming.
I think it goes to show that he has to complain about anything to get viewers, he loved saints row 2 but hated this? the mans an idiot.
I do agree with the walking mechanics, feels detached. It's like that in gta iv as well.
I got one glitch where I couldn't preform any Y commands.
Had to burn myself to death to fix it.

I love Red Dead Redemption, but he's right. I was honestly hoping he'd touch a little more on how fistfighting is fucking pointless.
Seriously, at least keep them knocked out for like a full minute or two or something. Doesn't feel like a win when the guy you knocked out gets up two seconds later and starts wailing on you again.

i agree with pretty much every point yahtzee made. the walking feels weird, its easy to overshoot running, the roads are too narrow for multiple people, etc, but the game is still pretty decent.
but you have to remember this is a yahtzee review so hes going to nitpick and say he dislikes the game almost every time.

Cougars are pretty awesome in the game. When I was playing online with a few facepunchers I was away from the group a bit and I seen one lying in the grass waiting for a moment to jump them, before it met a bullet in it's skull that is.

It's a sequel to an old awesome game using the RAGE engine and Euphoria. It has no relation to GTA IV otherwise.
