A weather ballon
"Hurr it was a draft and when u closed da door it stopped!" That's now how it works, it was barely even a door, more of a window and I think they would have noticed a draft coming throw a window inches next to them that was only a few feet wide. It wasn't even closed all the way, he said he slammed it and it stopped. If it was still going on, he'd be able to hear it. Although of course its nothing supernatural, it just annoys me that people are so quick to jump on the "you're a fool its obviously X" kind of thing.
clearly cats in heat getting nasty in the walls
Maybe an animal or a vagrant? I've heard some really unusual sounds from birds, foxes and dogs, not things you would usually expect to hear. It's pretty spooky that after exploring a load abandoned buildings, it was a psychiatric hospital that this happens. Not the first time I've heard about people things like crying or screaming in places like that. My friend's dad suposedly was surveying a tunnel under an old local mental hospital, where they kept some bad ones, according to him he heard crying and then ran back out when it turned to screaming when he neared the cell.
I think those sounded like snorks, what kind of fool goes unarmed in prypiapt anyway?
You're an idiot.
Have you ever experienced any other strange shit like that before?
Almost certainly an animal that's made it's home inside the building. Something like a pigeon. It probably isn't moaning in pain, but I'm not an expert on animal calls so I wouldn't know.
There is always a logical explanation.
Why didn't anyone just go look at what it was.
because that would reveal that it was just a draft or a bird and he wouldn't get as many views

Put simply, opening the door granted more air passage elsewhere, even if the breeze is mild/diffused and barely noticeable once it reaches his point. sometimes the difference in airflow from a partially opened door to a more opened door will be enough to cause the air to whistle through cracks in a window, make ventilation shafts resonate and moan, or even gust in and knock over an object within a room

I don't think wind does that.

it was me stay the FUCK out
It stopped when he made a noise, not just when he shut the door. I don't think wind does that.
3 probabilities come to mind- 1: the noise he made was at the same time he started shutting the door a bit. The difference in airflow could have been that tiny bit of difference between sound and not. 2: good timing. wind isn't a constant, it gusts, it breezes, it stops here and there. 3: zombies

well fuck you. Go back in, and climb that fucking stairs.. we need to know what that was
Clearly it is el chupacabra.
Have you ever experienced any other strange shit like that before?
I've heard weird noises before but was always able to figure out what it was or just assumed it was something harmless. First time I left a location over a noise and actually felt I could be in danger. Maybe I was just exhausted, dehydrated, hungry, and feeling vulnerable.
because that would reveal that it was just a draft or a bird and he wouldn't get as many views
I was legitimately uncomfortable by the noise. It probably was a pigeon, I'd be the first to assume that. But it was really loud, sounded deeper than a pigeon nesting call, and I was truly concerned for my safety incase it wasn't a bird. Better safe than sorry. I shared the video figuring that someone else would be able to tell me what it is. I'm not an attention whore gimmick like Zak Bagans. [editline]8th July 2013[/editline] Wind theory people..... stop. The noise was going on before I opened the door. It continued steady after the door was open. It stopped when I made a noise, not when I closed the door. There is no correlation between the door being open or closed and the sound being present. End. Please reassess your theories. Thank you.
Stuff like this makes me really uneasy.
we will never find out.. unless he goes back there
It could just be an animal, or hell, an insane person who's homeless and took up home in the building. I wouldn't be surprised if it was one or the other tbh.

Stop debating what it was because we will honestly never know for sure.
Probably some guy on the top floor dressed like this:
the body and everything looks awesome till you get to the face I wish I could make something like that for halloween
It sounds consistent. the only time it didn't was when they seemed to move the camera. It's probably a fan or machine of some sort that has a motor which hasn't been upkept for a while. You know, like a car axis when it doesn't have enough lube or whatever. it just spins and goes "woop woop woop woop woop" obligatory zoidberg because woop^5.
It's not a spooky abandoned asylum unless a wheelchair rolled across your path of its own accord.
Stuff like this makes me really uneasy.
Ambiguity is a hell of a thing. There's always a logical explanation, but there's also that thought in the back of your head that tries to tell you that it's something else. "Yeah, it could be a draft or a generator. But what if it wasn't?" The idea of you not knowing is what gets you.
literally sounds like a randy pigeon just the acoustics exenuate him. heres a vid i found http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MdWDlFrN7U

-Homeless and/or people with no standards having sex. -Some person(s) on bath salts or other hallucinogenic drug. -People that saw you go in and decided to fuck with you. There are possibilities. [editline]9th July 2013[/editline] And apparently horny pigeons.
