Unless by "base content" you mean RvB, you'd be wrong. The RT podcast is one of their longest running shows, and you can see that it's very clearly changed since they were aquired by fullscreen.
I meant content that only comes out of the Texas HQ. [editline]30th December 2017[/editline]
Am I the only one sicks of Burnie Vlogs, it's basically just a rich guy flaunting about all the awesome things he can do and get
He's finished doing them. I personally enjoyed them.
I meant content that only comes out of the Texas HQ.
My point still stands.
My point still stands.
The Podcast is still enjoyable.
The Podcast is still enjoyable.
Not really. Ever since Gus and Bernie quit being regulars on it, its gone starkly downhill. The podcast has been on a steady decline since around podcast 250 or so. The increased monitization and bringing on people like Blaine and Reisinger has caused an immense drop in everything. The podcast went from dinosaurs talking about early internet and giving opinions on pop culture and tech news, to just millennials with too much money having millennial problems. Just like how AH went from a holes being a holes to eachother, to loud rampant alcoholism.

Jon Resigner is probably one of the funniest people at the company. Why is it you only post in this thread to shit on it?
Also they're doing a FIRST exclusive documentary about the biggest attention whore in the world, Jessica Nigri
Think the documentary will cover the time that she just didn’t go to a convention where she was a special guest and the organizers only found out because she was stupid enough to liveblog her skipping it by going to the shite aquarium down the road from me.
I only know her from the few times she was on one of the shows.

I come to the thread like once a month to see if theres any news with the company because I'm sure as shit not going to traverse any subredits or their unnavigatable website. [editline]30th December 2017[/editline]
Also they're doing a FIRST exclusive documentary about the biggest attention whore in the world, Jessica Nigri
Putting an untalentes titty queen hack in a "documentary" is a pretty easy way to drive sponsorships.
Honestly I don’t think that I have ever dropped off a podcast as fast as I did with the RT podcast Rich Millenials doesn’t even begin to fucking describe it
I still don’t see the problem
Honestly I don’t think that I have ever dropped off a podcast as fast as I did with the RT podcast Rich Millenials doesn’t even begin to fucking describe it
I drive a lot for my job, so I rotate between the RT podcast, Funhaus podcast, and an occasional audio book. I always start at Drunk Tank #1 and give up around RT podcast #300 or #350. As soon as they started having 3 ads per episode, it started declining heavily. The corporatization, new millenial cast, and constant monetizing tie ins really ruined the podcast.
I just tune the ads out.
I still don’t see the problem
You see no problem with an unrelatable cast, uninformed, overly opinionated, blatant and poorly tied in product placements, and dumbing down because of corporate oversight? They can't give their honest opinion on things anymore because they might offend a corporate sponsor or offend a full screen production. Its so tame now you might as well be watching a half hour of millenial complaints. Can you really watch them do a Smirnof tie in where they have to make up drinks and name them after themselves and think "wow this is a fun and creative tie in that isn't horribly shoe horned into a podcast that hasn't been known for alcoholism since 5 years ago". [editline]31st December 2017[/editline]
I just tune the ads out.
It really seems like you're not capable of disliking any sort of media.
I don’t like RWBY. That’s from RT. im not going to list every single TV show or YouTube series or movie, that would be a long list. [editline]30th December 2017[/editline] I listen to the RT podcast every week and there has only been a few episodes I can think of that I’ve skipped, and almost all of them involved Brandon. But only when he’s hosting, if it’s him but he isn’t the host they’re usually fine. I really do not like Brandon. [editline]30th December 2017[/editline] On the Spot is probably my favourite RT show now, it’s hilarious
Is it weird that I feel Burnie should just step down and leave RT for other ventures because honestly what is his role at RT besides oing voices in RWBY and RvB
Don’t forget the absolute vapid vlogs involving him bragging about his money or doing something completely unrelatable
Is it weird that I feel Burnie should just step down and leave RT for other ventures because honestly what is his role at RT besides oing voices in RWBY and RvB
He's a founder, a beloved member of RT, and has great personality Sure he doesn't do much now, but not having him in the company isn't good Unless he wants to leave, or Matt lays him off, which is unlikely, he will stay
Burnie Vlog: Oh you bought a bus, who actually gives a fuck, oh you have a $100k Tesla, who gives a fuck. Seriously why did he feel the need to flex in the vlogs
I like the vlogs with Ellie, and the stuff they did, like sword making
Burnie Vlog: Oh you bought a bus, who actually gives a fuck, oh you have a $100k Tesla, who gives a fuck. Seriously why did he feel the need to flex in the vlogs
I think it's because he has nothing else to do and someone above him is demanding more content production. All his old tasks have been tasked out to other sections of management, so all he has left to do is be the face and personality of the company. I liked a few of the blogs, some of the behind the scenes stuff was interesting, and his machine gun shoot was cool. But the virtue signalling, yachting, and rich people shit was pretty boring and kinda frustrating. Its like RT forgot how to relate to its audience.
Honestly the only member who has remained the same since joining is Gavin
Honestly the only member who has remained the same since joining is Gavin
Its actually nice to see that his wealth hasn't changed the fact hes a narcissistic, selfish, self centered, foolish, uninformed, inconsiderate, sack of shit. Gavin "the world didn't exist before I was born" Free has remained a pillar of selfishness throughout his years of internet fame.
The amount of sponsorship shit is disgusting, especially since it isn’t even removed from first paying fans. Them not vetting them makes it even worse I think the ultimate bad one was a video with in video advertising, commercial breaks and sponsored reads. In a video where they were opening up gifts from fans. Which they would later upload a video of them literally throwing bowling balls at a shelf full of homemade items from fans. I don’t think that I have felt that disenfranchised before
Honestly, my opinion, I enjoy the vlogs. I enjoy RWBY. I enjoy most RT content (and as such, CC, FH, AH). I get why people heavily dislike the vlogs. It never relates anymore nor does it have to do anything with RT anymore and I assume it's why it's being stopped anyway. I enjoyed them purely because I got to see shit I usually don't. I think I'm just a blind fan I suppose but I guess that's me. RWBY in my opinion got better every season. Sure it looked like shit, the voice acting was god awful and it was super cliche and shit, but idk it was fun to just turn your brain off for a bit. Yet it had a lot of details that retained from seasons. Or the tiniest reference you could catch from season 1 in like season 3. Also, unpopular opinion, Always Open is very fun and a different perspective from me. It's interesting and I like to learn things. Not for everyone, understandable for sure. RT content isn't for everyone of course, there's a lot of stuff besides RWBY and the vlogs though luckily. I don't know where I was going with this I'm tired and it's 5 am :v: [editline]31st December 2017[/editline] Also AH has really changed to destroy whatever the fuck they can. I guess I feel it started ever since they opened that God damn PO box and got shit. I mean fuck, they even got syringes full of feces in them.
AH has really changed for the worst out of the whole company. They used to be assholes who would occasionally destroy a $30 Ikea desk that they had a hundred spares of, or blow up Jacks house in minecraft. Now theyre a bunch of loud alcoholics who talk in gibberish and destroy their office under the guise of ~content~. Their content started out as pretty base and immature in the first place, but its just devolved too far. They're catering to the type of audience that just likes to see holes in walls and puking. All in all RT and sons has been on the downturn since they were bought out by Fullscreen. Its sad to see that a once small but thriving and witty company get turned into a corporate pawn that caters to the lowest common denominator.
Their Sky Factory series in minecraft has been really entertaining, I love that Geoff loves breeding chickens, they all have their own thing to do and they enjoy doing it. apparently it’s almost over. [editline]31st December 2017[/editline] They plan on keep doing PC mods though
This page has making me be depressed about RoosterTeeth. The last thing of theirs that i liked was Season 6 of Red vs Blue and Let's Play Minecraft about ~100-150 episodes ago.
But it’s still good [editline]31st December 2017[/editline] Watch the sky factory series, it’s really good, and has a lot of funny moments, [editline]31st December 2017[/editline] It’s like their early days of Xbox minecraft again

But its one of the rare things that i enjoy from them these days.
