The only thing they are changing is the actors and the environment, and because the actors don't fit the roles the line delivery is awful. I don't understand why they think they need to change things jsut to appeal to an american audience?

The reason this won't ever be similar and or work in the USA, is because the UK Inbetweeners is gritty, in your face and just purely British... They can't write a similar programme for the US because people are just far too easily offended there.

Imagine how many people would cry if they saw someone wanking off before nailing a girl just to 'last longer', and not to mention the hilariously vulgar expressions Jay uses.

Just watched 2/3rds of series 1 (the original UK version that is) and it's a hilariously awkward show but I don't see it working with a US variant. British humor doesn't translate well usually
