Hey guys, how much you want to bet if you walked around outside and slapped strangers in the face with pizza and called them faggots, you'd find out being punched in your retarded motherfucking mouth isn't that uncommon of a reaction?
why are you still assuming that i'm justifying what the first guy did just because i don't agree with the second
why are you still assuming that i'm justifying what the first guy did just because i don't agree with the second
You pretty much just admitted with this post that being punched in the face for doing some dumb bullshit like that isn't an unexpected fucking reaction so why the hell are you still on your moral high horse.

????
i never said anything about it not being an expected reaction? i'm just saying that doesn't justify it?
no? how deluded are you if you think people actually need to be responsible for "fixing" each other's behaviors? but even worse, why on earth would punching them be the best way to do it?
yeah all he had to do was ask him to please not do that again or else
yeah all he had to do was ask him to please not do that again or else
all he had to do was walk away and not act like he's 15
I refresh the page after thirty minutes. Second page and still going :v:
Not necessarily, but it does mean you should expect some kind of response for it.
Well yeah. All I meant to say was that it sucks that it had to end so badly.
Pretty sure at this point Zukriuchen is just using this thread to make shitty arguments to increase his post count.
all he had to do was walk away and not act like he's 15
I'd say the guy with the pizza was the one being childish.
Calling him a faggot like he was in an COD lobby on his Xbox after slapping him and expecting nothing to happen after he just slapped a man in the face
How do you have someone slap you in the face with a greasy piece of pizza in front of everyone and not punch him in the face?
Imagine not having self respect, lmao
it becomes my job when the fucker slaps me in the face with a pizza
this is the only forum i know where literally the most given of things get turned into long convoluted ethical arguments when some out of touch with reality pacifists and the likes start being ironically aggressive towards anyone who doesn't agree with them
this is also the only forum i know where not wanting to punch someone means i have a superiority complex and no self respect
I guess all it takes is a pizza slap video to divide Facepunch again
I will agree to disagree but still I would never want to be looked at as the guy who knocked someone's teeth out over getting slapped by pizza
anger management is a useful adult skill

You're also derailing the thread on purpose. Please stop.

"Punching someone for no reason and punching someone for a very good reason is the same thing"
You're also derailing the thread on purpose. Please stop.
no i'm not, i'm just saying it's normal not to want to physically assault someone because they disrespected you. i'd understand the situation if the guy had punched him as a reaction, right when he got slapped, but waiting for him to sit down before sucker punching him isn't really something i can get behind

Delayed reaction is also a thing.

I kinda agree. If someone calls you a name semi-seriously, or play punches you a lil too hard, or teases you a little bit in your group of friends, managing your anger is good.
But if someone fucks with you in front of a group of people, calls you shit, and acts like you literally wont/cant do anything about it, I'd say he deserves to get socked in the mouth.
"Punching someone for no reason and punching someone for a very good reason is the same thing"
then that's where we disagree- a good reason to punch someone is, to me, self defense. i don't really agree with doing it to teach people life lessons or to look cool in front of your friends.
how can you honestly be that big of pushover to think that.
it was 100% justified and the only logical course of action.
The only logical course of action would be to walk away. This guy's response has resulted in a potential assault charge against himself, which was completely avoidable, and could cause serious repercussions when it comes to his current and future employment as well as any other legal challenges he may face in the future. I don't know about you, but that doesn't seem logical to me at all.
adulthood has nothing to do with anything so please stop hiding behind your overblown sense of maturity when you walk away after being physically and publicly humiliated by some lowlife looking to get his kicks at your expense.
it's really not a difficult concept to grasp, but i admire your questioning spirit set on challenging social principles set in stone since the beginning of known civilization.
anger management is a useful adult skill
Yeah sure.
Let's consider anger management from the very moments of him getting slapped in the face and him actually knocking the guy out.
Anger Management would totally be my first thought after being slapped in the face in front of my friends.

but... that's what anger management is though? Not losing your cool?
anger management is meant to be a first thought, that's what it is.

you do realize that's exactly what anger management is about, right
then that's where we disagree- a good reason to punch someone is, to me, self defense. i don't really agree with doing it to teach people life lessons or to look cool in front of your friends.
from the sound of it these were all a bunch of drunk as fuck chavs so I'm not sure why you're trying to convince anyone that the dude who got pizza'd was capable of turning his nose up and riding out the door on a moral high horse
but... that's what anger management is though? Not losing your cool?
anger management is meant to be a first thought, that's what it is.
But if you've had to consider anger management before, humiliation and assault is a bad combination to some random guy that has "had" to consider it.
I want to slap the camera man with a pizza. Hold the camera properly jackass! -_-
no? how deluded are you if you think people actually need to be responsible for "fixing" each other's behaviors? but even worse, why on earth would punching them be the best way to do it?
and you're the one that lets people push you around.
People hear and see of this and it happens more and more.
personally I'd have one up him and slapped him with TWO pizzas.
from the sound of it these were all a bunch of drunk as fuck chavs so I'm not sure why you're trying to convince anyone that the dude who got pizza'd was capable of turning his nose up and riding out the door on a moral high horse
i'm not, though. i'm not saying that wasn't an expected reaction. i'm not saying what the first guy did was justified. i'm not saying the guy's judgement wasn't impaired. fp users love to put words in other people's mouths, but all i'm saying is that the second guy was also in the wrong and that i wouldn't really praise his actions
I swear his excuses have changed over the past 3 pages...
and you're the one that lets people push you around.
is that supposed to make me feel bad about not punching people or what
Instant karma. Really what the hell was this guy thinking? Did he think he wasn't going to get punched?
Especially going after the dude who looks like he could really hammer you one too.
