The icing on the cake is that when they show gameplay of Black Ops 2, the watermark on top right says: Call of Duty/Infinity Ward. :v:
"We need to focus on the real issue. Violent video games." :suicide:
*Insert counter strike for kids here*
"provocative answers." It's the damn truth. Can you guys fucking believe it. This is a nation wide channel blatantly turning away from the explanation of a professional and from statistics just to spread their stupid bullshit. I mean, holy fuck how is this even allowed to happen? This goes beyond the debate about banning guns or video games in US. It's basically like this everywhere. Facts doesn't even matter. Edit: The truth may be uncomfortable, and you as an individual may think it's false, there's anything wrong with that. But when a large channel that reaches millions of people tries to push its "agenda", and is allowed to do that, then something is definitely wrong.
So by their logic of learning to use REAL weapons from halo and call of duty does that mean I can play Gran Turismo or Forza and learn how to drive? Because that sounds great, I'll just pop in Need For Speed and then I will get my drivers license in no time! Does that also mean I've learnt how to play the guitar while playing Guitar Hero Sounds great Everybody in that video should be fucking fired for immense levels of dumb
Honestly, the only real thing I learned to shoot with from videogames, was stance. But that's about it. You can also get that from just watching any shooting video for a couple of minutes, but whatever. The only real thing that driving games really taught me was like, expected reaction. But again. You can learn this within like five minutes of a car.
It's kinda sad how the new media always gets blamed for violence, no matter what the media is.
News is media News portrays violence Why is new not to blame as much?
Yes. Lets pass the blame onto guns and games instead of parenting, bullying or shitty schooling
All of this is to keep violent games away from children? Why not do some fucking parenting and not make the government tell you what to do. Lazy shits.
What the fuck is wrong with people in media, blame video games for killings of innocent people, clearly using games as a scapegoat, they used to blame horror movies long ago now it's games, I played violent games as a child, I don't run around with a knife or a gun to kill people now, my parents would control my time spent on the computer and they would see what sort of games I play, sometimes myself if I saw the game was too violent I would not play it, it's all about parenting and proper raising of your children, people should blame the parents.
I play games 6-13h a day, grew up with Diablo and GTA. - Great grades - Loves my family and all my friends - Never hit a human being in my entire life
I play games 6-13h

- Great grades
how the fuck?
Man. I wonder if there was this thing that had a rating indicator and briefly and bluntly displays what the game contains.
Funny how they say there need to be stricter laws and stuff on video games and yet there is already an ESRB rating system in place to prevent younger people from getting these games. It's not anyones fault but the parents for buying these games for their kids who are clearly too young for it. These laws are in place for a reason, and yet most parents don't give a shit. Honestly I think they need to up the anti by making it so if a retailer suspects that the game is being bought for someone who is too young for it, then they should have the right to deny that purchase. On one hand if an employee denies a sale, that goes against them, but on the other hand it helps keep these games out of kids hands. Parents want to blame the games and they want to blame the media and yet they allow their children to do what ever they want.
You dont fucking win points in GTA.
You dont fucking win points in GTA.
You definitely did in the first and second one, even when you only crashed into a car.
"VIOLENT VIDEO GAMES CAUSE IRL VIOLENCE, SO LETS PUT SOME FOOTAGE OF SAID GAMES ON LIVE TELIVISION" W00
The real world is far more violent and worse than anything you will find in a video game. It's a taboo to notice that a lot of the world we live in is based entirely on violence and greed so they go after the things that exhibit it and parody it. This video shows how downright stupid the media can be trying to put words into the mouths of those they speak to in order to pursue their agenda decided by the morons at the top.

"Although it does not have the legal authority to implement or enforce retailer sales policies with respect to video games, the ESRB works closely with retailers to: a) provide in-store signage which explains the rating system; b) support their store policies pertaining to the sale or rental of Mature-rated games to minors; and c) help educate and train store associates and employees with regard to the rating system.
