Hello ladies and gentlemen, this is Ben Fisk for the Darkfall Protocol.
I am pleased to announce that for this weekend only, my book, Osprey's Cabin, is completely free! For those of you who haven't been sure if you would like it or were apprehensive about spending money, now is the perfect time to give it a try. Head on over today and get yourself a copy; if you like it, please remember to leave a review on Amazon, as this is how I internally market and promote my book.

Thank you all so much for the support and I hope to continue a steady stream of content over the coming summer.
This is Ben Fisk for the Darkfall Protocol. Signing off.
I'm just getting around to reading Osprey's Cabin, and man is that book good so far. It's almost a dark comedy, except the characters remain serious (and smart).

And there's some excellent one-liners.
Stuff like 3:33 would definitely spook me out, it does look kinda body-shaped, but the "Ben" written on an electrical box is kind of a stretch :v:

I honestly thought it was "Boo" instead of Ben, but whatever was actually written, :mystery:

What the flying fuck, Ben's shirt in this is a photoshop of an image of a panda I painted in like ninth grade, nine years ago, what an amazing coincidence!

looks like a different piece entirely, like someone else came up with the same thing independently. you know, infinite monkeys sort of scenario
Found the original image that I painted from:

You've got a point, but tell me that doesn't look like the same image on his shirt
see, wasn't even original when you did it
guess it's a well known photo or something

wow ninjad by a few seconds
see, wasn't even original when you did it
That wasn't my point. My point was that I made a painting from the same image that ben's shirt is a photoshop from. The two images i posted was of the same painting that I did.

I think I bought that shirt way back in 2008 when Urban Outfitters was still cool. That painting is awesome and really well done, and in my opinion it's a pretty big coincidence that you're one of the 300 or so people who saw that video!
I'd like to see Ben do something like Apples to Apples again, but with Banana's. I don't know why, but when he said that apples remain untarnished despite what you do to them (paraphrasing), I think that Banana's might offer a challenge.

Also love how you're still doing these innovative challenges Ben, keep it up!
New video!

What's up, everybody. This seems like a perfect time to ask your advice.
In November we actually filmed the 4th Lightning Round, which had a working title of the Blitzkrieg. We tried using a new camera, only to find that it is extremely inferior. The footage we got is almost unusable, clocking in at somewhere around 480p. The content is pretty great, but the audio and video are garbage. I have no idea how to salvage it, or if I should just use it anyway, and would love to hear any thoughts you have.
Cheers.
I personally wouldn't mind seeing it anyway, if you feel like you don't wanna publicly show off low-quality video, you could upload it unlisted and post it here for feedback first. And as advice for the future, I'd do camera tests before shooting live footage, to prevent such dilemmas in the first place.
Definitely post it, Ben! We love your content, even if it takes us back to webcam-era quality.
If the content you shot is anywhere close to "fall in line", i'm sure it'll be great regardless of content. The others have good ideas though, like showing it unlisted here first to gauge public opinion before making it public and such. Even if it's not the best quality, I'd be excited to see it regardless. Your videos are really entertaining.
480p is better than 240p, post it ben!
If it's a 4th lightning round then don't delay. I love the lightning rounds.
