Another video already? This is shaping up to be a decent week.
When he got to the actual challenge [sp]and how it was altered, I was expecting a fiery, sticky disaster.[/sp]
thank god he didn't have a natural gas oven. just the broiler on those things would set his house on fire
:snip:, I'm late as fuck.

He's still actively updating though. If whatever you were going to post was interesting I can tell him about it!
I'm glad this thread is still up because every so often I come back purely for that book throw (all the other stuff is jokes too)

Thought he died going the wrong way last time. Second time's a charm!

What are the odds...
un-fucking-believable
I said that out loud at the end.
I've spent hours into the early morning reading this thread and watching all of the videos, needless to say, I subscribed immediately and am excited to see what's next.
Is he still taking challenge ideas?
If so: Consume four maxed out (2x meat, rice, tortilla, salsa + all ingredients) Chipotle quesaritos, and then run a mile afterwards-- both in under twenty five minutes. No drinks, and while bathroom breaks are allowed, the timer cannot be paused at any time for any reason. Every minute remaining should count for roughly +2 bonus points each.
It's a slightly modified version of the good ol' "Chipotle Challenge" that used to go around.
What's up everybody, this is Ben Fisk for the Darkfall Protocol. I wanted to say how amazed and grateful I am that this thread is still as alive and active as it is. I know that I owe almost everything I have on my channel to you all, and it's absolutely awesome to be able to come back here knowing that people are still posting, commenting with challenges, and giving me support. This community has been one of the nicest I've ever seen on the internet, and I cannot thank you enough for all you have done for my channel and for me.
Rest assured that I am taking note of the challenges that receive positive feedback here, and intend to do a good deal of them. I don't know what the pineapples one is, but I'm curious about it; I have seen so many iterations of the $12.34 challenge (If memory serves, I'm blind in one) that it's become one of my most elaborate achievements. My hope is that I will be able to post more frequently now that the blockbuster challenge of summer is over, and the manageable achievements you all have been suggesting will be perfect. Thank you for all the interest and creative ideas.
Currently, my latest video, All in the Name, is hovering in the ether of the 'new' section of /r/videos. If you have a moment, an upvote would mean the world so that I have a shot at reaching an even larger audience.
Thank you again for the incredible support you all have given me over the last eight months. You have truly given me an opportunity that would have been impossible otherwise, and I look forward to the insanity that is yet to come.

Would you still be interested in doing the dancing one I suggested a few months back? My current idea might be that you dance with headphones on for an hour or so (basically until you get tired or stop), and you get 5 points for every person who dances with you.

Something to do on a busy day in your local town centre, or something. Sorry if this seems like stupid stuff because I'm not really sure how American towns work.

I had forgotten about that one! I love that idea and could easily do this on campus. It's definitely going on the list.
Would just like to say that you fucking rock, your videos are great.
Do you have a collection of achievements you've made so far with the total point count?

Thank you! The way the List initially worked was that it was divided up by summers. The Sunset Agenda was summer before junior year of high school, that didn't have pictures or points. The Roster of Dusk was summer before senior year and that just had pictures, no points. Then the following two summers had point totals, followed by the entire series of lists to be globbed together to create the Darkfall Protocol.
So to answer your question, I do not have a lifetime point total because it is basically impossible to calculate. But a brunt of the points (because of scale, not quantity) have been gained in the last two years and the approximate total from them is 5500.
wheres my money ben

Thanks for answering, I have a couple more questions though.
Are you planning to keep making videos after the summer? And do you still have the poster from the Citrice video?
Also as a dutch person I'm obligated to ask you to eat an entire box of the saltiest licorice you can find and video tape it.
wheres my money ben
I will be the first to admit that I dropped the ball on this one. I will absolutely mail you the money as soon as I can make it to the bank. I'm still very excited to see what you do with it.

I'm very bad at this website and don't know how to respond to multiple people in one post.
I am hoping to post more frequently after the summer, believe it or not. I currently work full time and have been learning to scuba dive on the weekends / scuba diving a ship wreck / doing some form of the Nifty Fifty. Now that life has calmed down a little, I hope to focus more heavily on my channel. We'll have to see how that goes.
Yes, we still have the Beyond the Beyond the Lights poster. Something tells me that it'll be back soon...
I have no idea where to acquire such a candy, but I think it sounds like a great idea to try and find it. Achievement #457 - Asalted
oh my god no i wasnt being mean it was a joke please dont feel obligated to mail me money

I don't feel obligated at all, I really want to do it! It's unique and has the potential for hilarity.
if you insist. you still have my address and all that? also make sure when you send it you put the money inside a letter in the envelope. prevents people from seeing the money through the envelope.

also i already have plans
Oh hey, suggestion time. I've got one. It's an amendment to the whole 'Yellow Submarine' one I suggested a while back. It's much easier to do and doesn't require much cooking experience at all.
Boil a fish. Any fish will do. The fish must be boiled in lemon juice. All lemon juice. No dilution with water. You must eat at least one quarter of the fish. The only thing you can wash the fish down with is with lemon juice. It's worth 50 points.
