charity is a way for those in a position of power to feel less guilty
Freud was right
Yeah sure Pewdiepie enslaves taiwanese children to produce his videos [editline]16th August 2013[/editline] I mean who cares if he gets publicity out of this, if anything it's going to drive even more of his fans to donate money to charity.
I think he enslaves his fanbase to do so but that can be it also but just a thought it's not like he can really do that right ?
One could always just donate to charity:water through someone else, like these fellows: http://my.charitywater.org/fpsaviors
The problem isn't PDP, the problem is his insanely obnoxious fanbase. I used to be optimistic and thought "Hey, it can't be that bad, right?" but after experiencing it firsthand it's actually worse than people say it is. They're fucking insane. [editline]17th August 2013[/editline] On topic of the video itself: I see nothing bad with him using his fame to raise money for these things, and bashing the guy for doing so or saying he has "underlying motives" is really just bullshit.
A bit of an obvious PR move but nice nonetheless
Good that he donates to charity but... the comments oh dear... Top comments are both in caps and one of them is 'omg your profile picture is so awesome' to some random guy.
why is he copying critikal
I may not like him, but I support his cause. Since the weekly sale is a bunch of games I already own, then I don't see a need in getting it. You should get it, though. Botanicula is a relaxing puzzle adventure game. Along with a bunch of others I don't remember.
A bit of an obvious PR move but nice nonetheless
He really doesn't need more PR, he's the top subscribed channel on YouTube. [editline]18th August 2013[/editline]
why is he copying critikal
Um.
This thread really shows the immaturity of some facepunchers. It doesn't matter how bad his content is, he's saving lives.

The main problem I have with this charity is that they don't actually do that much to help. They install the wells but don't teach the people how to operate them or repair them, so they ended up looted for scrap or go into disarray.
lol his name is felix i didnt even know that Anyways, I've don't think I've really ever seen popular youtube users like this guy do shit like this. It won't change the fact that I don't like his videos, but I think his cause is a great one.
I'll admit this is a sorta immature reason to hate him but the way he talks really annoys the hell out of me, it grinds into my brain, that, plus the video lighting thats all super bright to make everything look really white in the room as if to make it "Softer". His sense of humor doesn't help either, but he has good intentions at least, which can make him less hateable. ...His fanbase... on the other hand...
