Star Wars
Brand recognition isn't enough. :weeb:
I bet anything they will add space battles later or something. Its too big of a feature to just let go.
i thought the space battles in battlefront 2 were boring as shit. if they do put space battles in they need to do it properly
i thought the space battles in battlefront 2 were boring as shit. if they do put space battles in they need to do it properly
It was okay, but after destroying the generators and the gun controls, I'd expect an instant win or a cool capital ship exploding. If space battles are implemented, they should try to add a way where you can lose your capital ship.
i thought the space battles in battlefront 2 were boring as shit. if they do put space battles in they need to do it properly
They'd need to do bigger space battles, like the Battle of Yavin over the first Death Star, the Rebels' escape from Hoth, and the Battle of Endor.
Brand recognition isn't enough. :weeb:
it fucking is when its star wars This isn't Dr Who we're talking about This isn't Narnia This isn't even Shrek This is Star Fucking Wars.
Have they said whether or not they're going to have the battlepack system in this game? That shit ruined BF4 for me.
Have they said whether or not they're going to have the battlepack system in this game? That shit ruined BF4 for me.
I'm more curious how such an innocuous and harmless feature of the game completely ruined Battlefield 4 for you.
That shit ruined BF4 for me.
Why? If it's because "some attachments are straight-up better and only available through battlepacks" that's pretty dumb, since you're guaranteed to unlock every attachment for a weapon by getting 510 kills with it. The first 16 attachments are unlocked every 10 kills in an order specific to the weapon, and the final 20 or so are unlocked in a random order through weapon-specific battlepacks every 50 kills after that. It's exactly as it was in BF3 only with the random battlepacks, you have an added chance to get some of those attachments early. How does that ruin the game?
I got chills when the Millennium Falcon came in, fuck me this looks great,

I didn't know you could get weapon battlepacks, just regular battlepacks. I'll probably play BF4 a lot more now that I know I can actually unlock everything for guns.
I hope space battles are like Titan mode in battlefield 2142. You had to down the shield of the titan, then sneak onboard the titan and fight your way through it disabling key systems and then eventually got a chance to blow the core reactor and had to run away before the titan went up in a fuckhuge explosion Also I told myself that I wouldn't buy any new games this fall because school and stuff but this is making it a lot tougher it looks better than I thought it would in so many ways
I got chills when the Millennium Falcon came in, fuck me this looks great,
Fuck that Slave I bitches Say what you will about Ep2 but those main gun sounds are fucking sexy on the Slave I BEBEBEBEBEBEBEBEBEBEBEBEBEBEBEBEBEBEBEBEBEBE
it fucking is when its star wars This isn't Dr Who we're talking about This isn't Narnia This isn't even Shrek This is Star Fucking Wars.
I fail to comprehend how putting the words "Star" and "Wars" immediately makes something better. Dancing didn't get any better with Star Wars Kinnect, a boring action game didn't get any better because it had Star Killer, the allmighty doughnut steel oc sonic fanfiction character, it could still be a crap game at the end of the day, and honestly if that's all the game can offer me, two words in the title, then I'm a bit disappointing. But hey, I must be dumb because instead of making a good argument against it, people just click once on a box for instant gratification. :v:
"Gold leader has arrived"
I fail to comprehend how putting the words "Star" and "Wars" immediately makes something better.
then fuck off there is no forming an argument to explain the visceral reactions people get with those two words put together. They don't need fucking excuses to justify clicking agree or disagree when the subject matter is fucking Star Wars (User was banned for this post ("Flaming" - Big Dumb American))

The trailer did nothing for me. It was far too much cinematic bullshit instead of actual gameplay. I will say that what the guy in page one said about the targetting computer makes me a lot more optimistic. I wish they had highlighted that in the trailer.
Camera recording of some gameplay, but it loses a lot of the impact without the sound.
its funny because at this point the guttural reaction to star wars should be more of an "ugh" than a "fuck yeah" maybe the new one will be good, but that wont change the last 3 and remove the overly aggressive marketing/franchising/milkingpastthepointofdeath of the property
The reason it is a "Fuck yeah" is because it isn't the PT, and it isn't George Lucas. [editline]9th August 2015[/editline]
The trailer did nothing for me. It was far too much cinematic bullshit instead of actual gameplay.
I was in the Alpha test of the Hoth ground map, it felt just like the trailer they released for it before hand which was "cinematic bullshit" as you call it. The game felt as cinematic as the trailer.
I'm still not sure I'll get it at release, but I'm less pessimistic about it considering how fun that looked.
I want to bomb frigates with the Y-Wing though. D:

I'm always up for boosting people.
