Everything usually runs fine in twitch chat with minimal problems and even minimal intolerance (even though any intolerance is too much). Usually just emote spam but that's because it's impossible to get real discussion in a chat room with over 50,000 people in it, so I think of it like cheering in a stadium. You aren't going to have high level discussions with people about football at a football game. But then midweek hits and there's a high profile case of people spamming something that could be twisted as intolerant. Then mods go on a power trip and auto ban any and all combination of letters that relate. They make it their personal goal to stamp out everything that could be construed as intolerant, ironically autobanning emotes of black people and women, so it seems like the only white emotes are allowed in the chat. Even if some people get accidentally permanently banned accidentally along the way, the ends justify the means (memes). This of course causes the chat to push back as most people in the twitch chat are trolls by nature. They start figuring out the banned words with Alts and then skirting around them, adding letters, typing similar words/phrases. Now the intolerance gets way more out of hand than it was previously, due to the Streisand effect. Now these skirting phrases are also auto bans and the cycle continues until the mods give up and twitch chat "wins" (they always win due to persistence). The week usually ends with the chat going back to what it was in the beginning of the week, though a bit calmer as the GDQ hype has usually died down at that point. Thus is the cycle of GDQ twitch chats.[/QUOTE]

all this speed running reminded me of a glitch i found in a link between worlds 2 years ago, which sadly isn't being run this year. surprised that its still used, the way things were going runners were hoping to eliminate having to get the flippers at all.

Pretty good SA2B run so far. That's one game I can't go back and play at this point, the camera is a fucking nightmare and the controls in general just feel terrible.
