All Sony has to do with an alternate to HDMI is include that same port that was in the back of PS2, and PS3 for the Composite cables.
Why are people bitching about the powerbrick
Why are people bitching about the powerbrick
Cuz the 360's powerbrick was fucking loud and obnoxious.
Cuz the 360's powerbrick was fucking loud and obnoxious.
Wut. The 360's powerbrick literally made no sound. My 360 on the other hand was a fucking jet engine. Either way the powerbrick gets hot as fuck and makes my room even hotter than it already is. [editline]11th August 2013[/editline]
Why are people bitching about the powerbrick
Because it wastes space. PS4 has a built in powerbrick and the console is half the size of the Xbox One AND is more powerful.
Probably because that made it cheaper to manufacture? The same reason the latest PS3 model has a top loading drive. Even the PS3 slim went through multiple different revisions where they took stuff out, like the lights inside the power and eject buttons.
Cheaper to manufacture and the fact that it was on a horizontal faceplate rather than a vertical one meant that literally anything with capacitive abilities would turn the console on and off and remove the discs in the drive. In this case though, Xbone has fixed it slightly by putting it on a vertical faceplate. Still fucked if your cat or dog rubs up against it though.

After all, we are talking about GPUs that probably have power requirements akin to those of a ~7850, and while the CPU is a relatively low power one, it's still some heat you have to move out the way. My concerns are probably not substantiated, but I wouldn't be surprised if problems should arise in the future.
The Xbox 360 controller design was perfect, and there they go changing it again.
What? It's far from perfect. The D-Pad is poop and the analog sticks don't even center when you let go of them on my brand new controller (the last one failed after 2 years).
Didn't know that having bleh features on your game console was on par with getting stabbed. This isn't bad as the myriad of fascism analogies I've seen, though, I'll give you that.
look, there's nothing wrong with just admitting you're a xbone fanboy. it'd really save you time instead of having to come up with posts subtlety defending microsoft
