Frozen Coke vending machines in Hong Kong

Go put a cup of coke in the freeze and come back in 3 hours. Eat the frozen coke and it has this distinctive, dirt like taste.

I can do this at my house.

You just make sure the soda is kept a little below freezing. The pressure in the bottle lowers the freezing temperature, and when you release the pressure, it returns to the normal freezing temperature and freezes.

You can set the temperature of your freezer.

This has happened multiple times from a minifridge. It's not rocket science.

The difference between the melting points of water between 1 bar and 8 bars is about 0.05 degrees Celsius, and those bottles certainly aren't that pressurized. The lower melting point of water in high pressure has little to do with this.
