BF3 didn't make quite an impact in games.
It's engine, without all the lensflare is really nice, the destructible buildings etc.
It's kind of weird that there was Crysis 2, but not 1 which was more like a milestone.

i still like my good ol' Diablo 2 more than Diablo 3
but in retrospective i think starcraft never lost on quality with the sequel.
The original Empire Earth was in there for about a frame. So many hours of my life, gone because of that game.

When I saw Overlord I got excited. Great game. Was on Amiga, Dos, NES, and Commodor. It was a great 4x strategy game.
