I can't quite grasp how come it's not considered unfortunate that Deus Ex wasn't included in this little montage. Are you saying that Deus Ex didn't make an impact on the PC gaming industry?
It was included. Deus Ex and Human Revolution were both included.
I didn't see any Deus Ex. [sp]What a shame[/sp]
There was Deus Ex and Deus Ex: Human Revolution footage in there.
Holy shit really? well christ I'm blind. Wait. was it only the main menu of the game? Regarding Deus Ex 1 that is

nostalgia attack when they showed Splinter Cell, when I played it I never understood what was going on and I was really horrible at it but goddamn I loved every second of it
hi
Is there any actual footage of the original? Or just a clip of HR?
The jump to the Lucasfilm Games era was pretty big too.

Not even the first CoD? I am sad :(
I was expecting Battlefield 3 in there, but that was a cool video.
I was expecting Battlefield 3 in there, but that was a cool video.
Battlefield 3 should have definitely made an appearance, cause that game, say what you want, is gorgeous
I was expecting Battlefield 3 in there, but that was a cool video.
BF3 didn't make quite an impact in games. It's engine, without all the lensflare is really nice, the destructible buildings etc.
It's kind of weird that there was Crysis 2, but not 1 which was more like a milestone.
Oh my god, so many games I've never played.
I'm proud to be a PC Gamer.
Oh, this is awesome. The guy who did this (Dainumo) is one of my favorite artists.
from 1:40 i start to recognize the games. i still like my good ol' Diablo 2 more than Diablo 3 but in retrospective i think starcraft never lost on quality with the sequel.
The original Empire Earth was in there for about a frame. So many hours of my life, gone because of that game.
;36837725'] Main menu screen of the original Deus Ex at 1:50
That's what I thought. It woulda been nice if he actually shown the actual game rather than the menu. Unless the main menu was the influential thing :v: Which I doubt
BF3 didn't make quite an impact in games. It's engine, without all the lensflare is really nice, the destructible buildings etc.
Yeah. I only mentioned it because how visually stunning it is. Just compare it to how games used to look.
Ahh the old prince of persia was the shit back in those days.
Amazing how this and half life came out in the same year.
the person sure liked their wing commander.
Reminds me of:
Loved the fact that I saw Myst in there.
being 25 i've lived though almost all of this. This is awesome, almost made me cry because I remember having so much fun with friends Nostalgia is a weird thing...
Reminds me of:
UT99 was such a huge part of my PC Gaming history. Infact, I think I might go boot up UT99 right now.
I jest feel old now.
Riven and Half-Life back to back? That's a service to my interests.
When I saw Overlord I got excited. Great game. Was on Amiga, Dos, NES, and Commodor. It was a great 4x strategy game.
That's what I thought. It woulda been nice if he actually shown the actual game rather than the menu. Unless the main menu was the influential thing :v: Which I doubt
Well the music on the menu certainly leaves an impression
