wow
this is way better than football
Can I get this on ESPN with John Madden commentating?
Ladies and gentlemen, these are the people who are in charge of our country and decide its rules...........a bunch of bickering know nothing old twats.
no wonder we are fucked.
are you people (the other ones in the thread as well) active in politics, or are you just bashing politics to go with the rebel flow?
sorry if I'm being prejudicial, but I've experienced people who are like this. They literally know nothing about what they're even talking about, and they just bash them without reason
some focus on one but ofter irrelevant reason like a politician who likes to party (heard some girls saying this on the radio today) but they don't even know what he stands for or anything like that

Hey, in the U.S. we have 80 something white dudes arguing about who doesn't believe in the internet harder and how many committees they need to form to read all the shit they're supposed to have read that week.
And that's when they're not skipping to go get hammered and bribed.

I think some of it's good old-fashioned sarcasm.
I really can't imagine Ed Miliband as PM
God British politics are like an insult battle in school.
oh no he isnt!
OHHHH YES HE ISSSSS

also bear in mind its very easy to win as the opposition
Why isn't Austrlian parliment more like this.
heated debate like this is what drives politics, not the horrible, infantalized talks we have today
I remember back in 2008 when palin was in a debate with biden, and he couldn't rip that dumb bitch to shreds because he would come off as too "mean"
debate should be like it was in 1800s: just fucking go all out and murder the opponent with words
Someone needs to go Cromwell on that place.
Hardly. They bicker like children.
Which is what makes it so funny. Also, the constant jeering after every sentence.

Or just murder the opponent.
People need to understand that this childlike bickering is actually a very important part of politics. Strong, emotion filled statements are incredibly effective at driving home a statement, and turning support over to their side. You need to get angry, to fill your statements with rage, so others can emphasize with you.
So, what may seem unprofessional is actually just a part of how politics works.

Empathise* I agree though, some times humour or anger can be the only thing that makes a point hit home.
I liked how the speaker got up and just told them to shut the fuck up and have a proper discussion.
Empathise*
Technically empathize if you're canadian, but yes.
I was almost expecting them to break out into a wave of immature insults about the other person's mother.
I'm glad they've got a speaker who actually has a voice now

Did the previous one hold up signs, or what?
This sounds like a bunch of dick waving.
Labour = the better of two evils.
It's funny how everyone blames David Cameron for making cuts when Labour put us in this mess, FYI Labour would have made the same cuts.
its not like the financial crisis wouldnt have happened if the conservatives were in power at the time.
at the end of the day he's right: labour = the better of two evils

How, Labour always spend shit loads of money them leave the consequences with the conservatives then moan about how they make cuts.
