that said, why the fuck would you agree to do something like this if a little technical fault means you're likely to basically freeze up and shit yourself
Well, he was possibly given some money for his appearance and he seemed interested in the product, too.
His films are emotional rides? Well, my anger after seeing his films is emotion, so he is quite right.
Wow couldn't wing it
I can see why his movies blow so much. It's all he knows.
That's what happens when you rely on reading the Teleprompter. I'm sure when it messed up on him he forgot what he was even reading.

This kind of thing happens to a lot of us, you just freeze up after one mistake and then it's a slippery slope. I know how he feels, it's a very easy thing to mess up.
The man is obviously on drugs I'm surprised no one can see that.
I feel bad for him, and just remember - even people who don't normally get stage fright can under the right circumstances (in my case, 3 hours of sleep, little preparation, and no food for 12 hours). Were it not for the fact that the presentation was a final for a class I would have walked off just like him. Shit happens.
He should have made a very obvious glance at his watch, and said "Shoot! I'm late!" and ran off.
"I want to take people on an emotional ride" What, annoyance and irritation?
His films are emotional rides? Well, my anger after seeing his films is emotion, so he is quite right.
getting angry at movies lol
