Well, odds are that if he got to anything above 10 MPH, it'd completely decimate the car. He said it'll move, not drive.
Having seen a fair share of front end wrecks, odds are that the front axle is completely fucked, the engine is on the verge of destruction, a lot of misalignments, and probably a lot more that I'm too car illiterate to articulate. And having replaced an axle, an engine, and plenty more, that shit is REALLY god damn expensive. Like, you don't put that kind of money into an old car unless it's a Classic.
