The only thing he could do to fix that echo is to have the WHOLE front end cut off and a new donated (i.e. wrecked in the back or blown engine of its own) welded back on, which can cost thousands if you don't know someone or can do it yourself. I'm extremely interested in what he'll end up buying with it. Because, look at it this way, that echo was his DD. His DD is now dead, we're buying the man a car not just for the road trip, but for personal use.

He said any extra money they make is going towards the cross country trips, which costs a lot. You can find great cars for under 5k
