Not in this case. You do addition and subtraction in whatever order they're in from left to right.
And even if it did, the answer would still be 11.

It's funny to see so many people on the internet fighting over what those PEMDAS/BODMAS/whatever acronyms actually mean. I'm not talking about this thread specifically, it's all over the internet whenever this kind of discussion comes up. Do you guys seriously need those acronyms to remember the order of operations? You'd think several years of maths in the primary school should at least get the basics like that down. At the same time, many people even interpret those acronyms incorrectly, making the whole thing pretty much pointless.
