Not using it's claws, the backside of their claws that gets tucked under the paw pads is just sliding accross.
The glass screen is strong as hell, you can take a razor blade to it and have no effect.
Good thing that cats can retract the claws into their paws,

Thank god you're around, I was about to get really goddamn pissed.
Also the guy says when his cat uses its claws it doesn't scratch the screen because the glass is tougher than the nails (And he trims them!)
