Honestly, following this whole thing and watching g this thread has made me want to buy star mazer because I was also curious.
Leonard French is simply lovely. I started cracking up at about the 30 minute mark in the late response video. He's trying to hard to give her any possible benefit of the doubt and trying to see things in her favor, and he just gets so confused by how dumb the thing is and starts to realize she is sorta incriminating herself in the response. He seems genuinely flabbergasted by the incompetence she displays.

Judge is being dicked around by Alex Mauer and refuses to acknowledge her bad faith regarding her disregard for deadlines and her constant abuse of legal tools to her advantage.
So let me get this straight. Mauer has 2 months to come up with a legal response, misses the deadline and not only is the judge letting it fly, there's quite a bit of an implication that he might be on her side?

He's clearly not on her side but he's also clearly giving her far more leeway than she ought to have considering the delays and extended deadlines were set in place to help her in the first place (she fired her own attorney and then said she needed time to find another one).

A TRO has already been ordered by the judge at the beginning of the case. So Alex is forbidden from filing anymore DMCAs in regards to Starr Mazer. But this denial of motion to strike and motion for default means this case got a whole lot more expensive for Don and Imagos.
I think the Judge is just trying to be a true neutral and giving Mauer the chance for her to present her case. It'd be easy for people to twist a total dismissal into the big bad game developers bullying the poor little girl with the legal system. This way the trial gets to go through the motions and clearly and consummately prove Mauer's guilt.
I feel SidAlpha is taking the Judge's response [I]way[/I] too personally.
Even if it may be for a just cause, I could understand anyone's frustration with the revelation, especially SidAlpha's.
