I disagreed because I absolutely hate RNG mechanics. Just from a gameplay perspective, there's barely anything that makes Lisa stand out from any other turn-based RPG. Even if you dislike Undertale's combat system, it at least tries something unique(even if it's not necessarily new). In Lisa, grinding is almost a necessity as some of the best armor and weapons are locked behind obscene prices, made even worse with the DLC. At least Lisa's DLC gives you some control over your damage, but it's still RNG whether you hit or miss, and that in my opinion is lazy and just unfun. In Undertale, the only reason you'd want to grind is because you suck at dodging bullets which is understandable, and armor is found throughout the game. Each armor and weapon in Undertale does something unique, such as one item healing you every other turn, or a weapon that makes your invincibility period last longer. Lisa as a game is basically "get as many high numbers as possible and pray to RNG that you kill the boss before the boss can kill you", just like so many other RPGs. I avoid turn-based RPGs for this reason, so Undertale at least to me was a pleasant surprise.
Not trying to tell you're playing the game wrong but you're playing the game wrong. Lisa HEAVILY discourages grinding. Any areas with random encounters give terrible drops, and almost no experience. The most important battles (aka the ones that give the best drops and experience) are all the normal battles you can only experience once, and through just progressing through the game you almost always are strong enough to face the next obstacle.
It's still very much a traditional rpg, with all the things that come with standard rpg fair, so if you don't like it that's fine, but grinding isn't necessary at all in Lisa. [del]Savescumming is though, so[/del]
I thought the video edit was funny and the amount of effort you put into making it is impressive

I made the whole video without unlocking the aspect ratio so when I first rendered it the crops kept disappearing on the edge of the screens. You can still see it at some parts.
Also I did a bit too much panning I think but otherwise the images would be static for like 7 seconds which makes it look really uneventful so you have a lot of shit moving around.

Regardless of being late:
Not ever in the game you're told to grind, and there's only a few select places in the game where you can even get random encounters, and they don't even net you much EXP or GOLD. You'll get all the great items by finding them and you'll get far stronger if you have a proper party, and this is something you'll get by actually playing the game and interacting with the world and characters.
The whole idea of the game is that you're supposed to explore and experience everything. There's very few bullshit RNG things that are actually dangerous even if you know what you're doing. And even then, these 'rng' elements are part of the charm, they're there to set the tone. Things such as [sp]russian roulette or permadeath moves.[/sp]
If there's anything that pisses me off in LISA it's the fucking pitfalls you can fall off from if you're not paying attention.
I stopped playing lisa cuz I was exploring that area around the gas generator where you make molotovs or whatever and there were an absolute fuckload of bad guys around and I had to use up all of brad's joy just to beat them all cuz they'd hit super hard (the encounter with like 5 guys who all inflict bleed and the guy with the bat who ambushes you in a cave in particular) so my two other party members were dead and brad went into withdrawal from joy so he can't do any damage to anything so I couldn't do a thing to beat the snakes on that one path and I gave up

If you're having troubles with enemies, you can always buy more Jerky from the shops. If that's not an option, you can grind for Mags and Mystery Jerky on the infinitely-respawning shadows leading to the area.
There's also an inn in that area that you can sleep in for only ten Mags.

You can get away from withdrawal by using the campfire.

Well he did say if the thread surpassed 10 pages, not reach it.
maybe he said that to annoy people who don't like it more and then not add them to annoy the other side as well
