I like their playthroughs and their machinima videos, but yeah sometimes the scripted stuff is really forced. Like that animation. Ugh.
They said anyone can choose any player model, they just don't have an interface for allowing it yet. Allow for players to shoot eachother, put either a Deathmatch or Objective in and you've got an opportunity for free-form wars with larger scale than even Battlefield. Of course, some would probably just want to dick around with roleplay, or go freeroam and tether their friend's helicopters to their own car and then drag both into the ocean or such.
And that's the beauty of it - like how San Andreas' multiplayer had so many possibilities due to being a sandbox game, Just Cause 2 has that plus over-the-top game mechanics that accentuate the positives of a sandbox environment, allowing for numerous things if people think outside the box. :v:
I can't wait to see just cause 2 to be on top sellers because of this mod.
i have like 15 minutes of unedited recorded footage, fraps size is like 40 gbs.
if only i had a video editor on this computer though.
I actually recorded all these people hooking onto a helicopter, and then the heli crashed into a building and there were screaming everywhere.
But yea, It ran really well for it to be a closed beta thing, i want to see the full thing come out soon

This is why more games need modding support. A good mod can suddenly bring life into an older game again. Examples being 0'brothers for Mari0, DayZ for Arma II and this mod.
