Are you retarded? Cars these days have these things you may have heard of called airbags and seat belts that protect people in case of an accident. Plus they crumple so as to minimize the transfer of energy into the occupants. I've seen worse than that that people have walked away from. I'd say at worst they may have been knocked unconscious. But dead? Give me a break, nobody in this video died.
It's not like safety devices are completely indestructible. And that car was going fast enough to almost entirely flip the car over.
Why do people even care so much about a bunch of video game characters who "died". If it's about morality it's fucking retarded. If it's about having the ability to complete a mission without killing anyone then as far as the video shows it, it was up to the player.
Don't know why but the notifications and menu remind me of Deus Ex... "Hacking is our weapon" Yep, totally reminds me of Deus Ex. But the game does look pretty neat.
But they both hit something going a hundred miles per hour
i'm a bit concerned you think that was anywhere near 100mph
i'm a bit concerned you think that was anywhere near 100mph
I'm a bit concerned that you think that I actually thought they were going near 100mph while it was quite obviously a hyperbole they were however, going pretty fast
It's not like safety devices are completely indestructible. And that car was going fast enough to almost entirely flip the car over.
Ok? A car can flip over and still not have the people inside die.
I'm a bit concerned that you think that I actually thought they were going near 100mph while it was quite obviously a hyperbole they were however, going pretty fast
It's a video game, those cops will probably die from being shot in the foot 100 times. Who cares how fast they were going.
I'm a bit concerned that you think that I actually thought they were going near 100mph while it was quite obviously a hyperbole they were however, going pretty fast
Your reply to someone saying the cops could have lived (since the cars really weren't going insanely fast) was that the car was going 100mph. I don't think you know what an obvious hyperbole is.
Heres a 1080p version if anyone wants it. [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EtBh4QzZKz4&list=LLsxuLtfCa8eZMkQ6cMrV1fw[/hd]

Because we have no evidence supporting that they were going 100 miles per hour then it is implied that I am just exaggerating the speed to make a point. Plus does it matter? The point was that at a decent speed like that they have a high risk of fatal injury.

Scripted?
i hope this isn't a ps4 exclusive... Such a purdy game should be given the 60FPS, + graphics mods treatment.
This was the saving grace to the PS4 conference today. Just how it was the saving grace of E3 in the summer. Games gonna be fucking amazing, but I wonder if its gonna feel really dynamic or if its just gonna feel like nicely placed set pieces for hacking.
i hope this isn't a ps4 exclusive... Such a purdy game should be given the 60FPS, + graphics mods treatment.
Ubisoft confirmed that it was coming to Wii U shortly after the conference, so it will probably be on most systems.
Platform(s) Microsoft Windows PlayStation 3 PlayStation 4[2] Wii U[3] Xbox 360
Amazing But my dual 4870s will likely burn up attempting to run it
The point was that at a decent speed like that they have a high risk of fatal injury.
No. Maybe if the car caught fire but otherwise they would be relatively safe.
Damn they made Chicago look good except traffic was way too light
The shadows are a little disappointing, especially those cast by characters. Then again I'm really nit-picky about shading.
-snip- nevermind
Vigilante hacker fighting against crime. Robbing people of their bank account funds casually. Ultimate dickery potential, and that's not even going into the multiplayer aspects.

Shut up, and take my money.
What frame-rate is the game running at? Looks a bit choppy at times... could be the video encode though for youtube.
I really hope there is more to this than annoying NPC's by messing with their phone or stealing money from their bank account Mildly annoying a digital AI really doesn't seem that satisfying compared to capping them in the head and just grabbing the money off of their corpse I'm just not seeing the intense hype for this game
I'm a bit disappointed that there seems to be a morality slider, since I was hoping that the whole game would be based around you being one of those cool techno-villains that only gets one episode in the superhero cartoon. I guess that I should still have hope for a nicely branching story, and anyways, being a cool hacker vigilante could still be some fun.

Thinking about the money I'll have to invest on the PC once more..
I completely believe all that could have been just stuff that happens in the open-world. Games like GTAIV and Sleeping Dogs are already relatively close to that, this just seems like the next step and totally possible.
