That skin editor looks straight outta NFS World. Decal resolution too..
HOLY MOTHERFUCKING FUCKNUTS let me get this straight: there's both a MK1 Golf GTI and a 242? i can safely say that whatever brakes were still left on the hype train are absolutely gone
I would actually love having Mk2 Golf, but still it's nice that Ghost adds some old classics. In a game that revolves around street racing and tuning they're a must have. It was something I missed 11 years ago in UG1.
Neat stuff, but I'll still wait for the reviews before purchasing it. Last 2 games that I pre-ordered turned out to be completely unplayable.
They got the car selection and the choice of aftermarket parts etc. bang on. Looking forward to seeing a full car list closer to release.
the woman's voice is annoying ugh the customization isn't really anything special, pretty much every need for speed has great car tweaking in it so it was to be expected. Obviously the graphics are much better but I don't see a huge jump in customization options.
Dear god, she was obnoxious. "Frum your nitrouuss to your turrrhhhbooh."
Honda is back and they recently announced the volvo 242 will be in the game. I don't want to hype but it's hard not to when your going to be able to pimp out a 242 :speedfap:
They also did a great choice in taste when they chose the 242 from 1975.
The customization will be great, but the car selection is incredibly small. No kouki z31 :(
I didn't give a shit about this until I saw that it had good customization, good cars, and open world again. I loved carbon and this seems to pick up a lot of that. Hopefully we can do serious body mods like chop-tops, like carbon had. I'm excite. This will be the first nfs since carbon that I get. It seems they finally figured out that we want a new carbon/underground/most wanted, not some gayboy ~raycer~ game. Actual street racing with machines that could actually exist.
I was a bit suspicious of the game after seeing how in-game social media attention is your currency and because of the always online DMR, but now they got my attention
I'm impressed with the customization so far, it's like the Underground 3 we've wanted for so long. But it seems that this pain still exists: No neons - nothing to do with customization Yes neons - [sp]either way it'll be the first NFS game I've bought in YEARS.[/sp] (User was banned for this post ("Reaction Dio." - Seiteki))
The customization will be great, but the car selection is incredibly small. No kouki z31 :(
actually they said that they would include more cars in future DLC I can't remember if they said it would be free though
wow does it look great tho
It seems they finally figured out that we want a new carbon/underground/most wanted, not some gayboy ~raycer~ game. Actual street racing with machines that could actually exist.
You are really strongly opinionated about racing games
In the meantime, NFS No Limits is out, so feel free to download it on mobile.
NSX confirmed It surprised me to see Honda in a racing game with cops, EA must have either gave Honda some sweet licensing fees or Honda's stance on racing game has changed.
did they say anything about 60FPS on PC?
It fucking better if we aren't getting it until next year
Well, most of us have internet all the time anyways so w/e.
That's not the issue. What about when (not if) their severs shit themselves because too many people log on at once? What about when the game is 2 years old and they decide to shut the servers down to force you onto the new game? What about the fact that the game will be unusable once the servers are shut down? I don't have an issue with always online DRM because my internet connection is shit, I have an issue with it because companies do it purely to fuck over paying customers in the future. It's a built in way to shut down the game permanently for everyone once they don't think they can squeeze and more money from it.
It's about damned time they went back to customization. It's all I play the old NFS games for. Underground, Underground 2, and the Original Most Wanted still hold up as my favourite entries to the series. All that crap with the rebooted Most Wanted where you don't get to customize anything was bullshit and a huge turn off for me. I need to feel like I'm racing MY car. How many of them have been modded back to life? If a game is good enough, it will live on, whether the developers want it to or not.
Also, for anyone who signed up for the closed beta for NFS Check your emails, they just sent them out right now Got mine [t]http://puu.sh/kw0eN.png[/t]
