Now lets see a really good singleplayer Star Wars game with these kind of graphics. So fucking sick of generic gameplay multiplayer FPS games.
Yeah just because it isn't your style doesn't mean the game sucks or is generic. I think Dice was brave as fuck by taking out resource management and making your equipment have cooldown. I actually prefer it to someone being able to spam 100% of their grenades, get killed, and then being fully able to spam 100% again. I'm not saying it doesn't have it's problems and balancing issues, but it is by no means a generic game. And it is by no means a boring game. All the people riding crowd mentality that haven't even played the game past the public beta can suck my ass because at the end of the day you guys are grumpy cunts and I'm having fun playing a game I like. [editline]11th December 2015[/editline]
Actually, to me, this lacks everything I liked about the previous Star Wars Battlefront games and the only saving grace is the visual and audio design but flops when it comes to having any form of charm of in depth gameplay.
I don't know why you expected the game to have all the same gamemodes and stuff, it's being made by a different company for a different audience, the only thing that stayed the same is the name and the general concept. [editline]11th December 2015[/editline]
The new battlefront will only be remembered as the epitome of how good graphics don't make a good game. Blame EA all you want but maybe DICE could grow a backbone and tell EA to back off, but I doubt management at DICE care about making good games.
The game isn't bad, have you even played it? Or are you just going with the crowd mentality? Because you seem to be regurgitating the same thing that is said in every battlefront thread.

I think most people would still prefer just having their grenades be a resource instead of an MMO-style cooldown. We're just saying the game isn't good. Keep your ass sucking to yourself, mister.
The game isn't bad, have you even played it? Or are you just going with the crowd mentality?
I'm just bummed out that a game series I sunk a lot of time into is dead and now something else has taken up the helm with the same exact name.

The game has come out with everything it has advertise, it didn't lie about anything. I have the game without the season pass, and plan on never getting it, the thing is the season pass is optional, it's there if you know you're going to play the game throughout it's lifetime. imho it's definitely worth it but I can see I'm coming off as biased here, I at least reccomend you try it out at a friends place or during a sale because it's a lot more fun than a lot of people are making it out to be. Space battles.
No one is denying that the game looks great but graphics alone don't make a game good.
Good thing the gunplay and vehicle controls are fucking spot on too.
 Imagine what they could have done if it was PC exclusive, I mean sure the console versions are very well optimized but still.
Pretty sure DICE worked backwards on this since it looks insane on PC, even on low settings. Even at 4k Battlefront allows supersampling and I dont think anyone can record 4k battlefront at 200% render at 60fps anyways.
I really really want to like this game. But I go into it thinking it'll be like Planetside in terms of scale and its just not quite there.

(Demo weekend) If you removed the gorgeous graphics then what would you have left? A very boring and bland shooter that doesn't innovate in any shape or form. There's nothing redeeming about the gameplay. The game doesn't even promote teamplay, it promotes lone wolfing since you can only be paired with one other person and even then there is no interaction between teammates. Since there are no defined roles, you don't rely on the help of your teammates. You just run around, shoot people, die, repespawn ad infinitum. Saying the beta doesn't count is pretty hilarious. Sure it wasn't 100% finished but the gameplay didn't magically change between the beta and release, did it? And lastly, let us be grumpy cunts and go play the game you so adore instead of defending it on an internet forum. Why waste your time?

Supremacy and turning point are really fun, and gamemodes like droid run and cargo call for plenty of teamwork scenarios. I'm not saying the game is perfect by any means, or that I adore it. I'm just saying it isn't a travesty in gaming like other people are saying it is.
But if you want a good screen shot engine you'd get one with this game I've not heard too bad about the gameplay just yet, is it really that shit?
like the two users said above me, it's not terrible but it's not going to keep you entertained for very long. I played my fill entirely over the beta and don't have any desire to go back. The graphics and sound design make you feel really immersed and the star wars assets are familiar and appealing to fans. But once that wears off and you start to actually pay attention to the gameplay your excitement for the game burns out really fast. [editline]11th December 2015[/editline] Honestly, I feel like there's a trend of paying a lot of attention to graphics and atmosphere but not a lot of attention to gameplay, from both devs and consumers. Skyrim definitely didn't help.

I bet if it had an interesting campaign mode they'd be able to make ideas that'd spice the combat up far more, as well as add extra hours to the play time as well in general [editline]12th December 2015[/editline] actually, does this game even have a space mode? I'm not really familiar with BF but I know even the PSP battlefront had space warfare
nah the game balance is really really bad The only way this would be fun long term is drunk party game When I said DICE had no interest is this game and the DLC was already mostly done, I wasn't kidding. There is no depth to be had.
