I'm inclined to agree with this. Any sort of early social rejection and isolation can lead EASILY to certain complexes that will be backed up by other people online, it becomes exponential pretty quickly.

That's pretty sad that people in their 20s that are like this are getting more common from what Ive seen. But yeah the fact that we are entering the era where people grew up on online echo-chamber communities that tell them only what they want to hear from a very young age is likely one of the reasons why we are seeing more of this.
