Well I hope this serves as a lesson to the rest of the world on why you don't repeal net neutrality.
This should not surprise anyone who has been paying attention to who was voting. It's ludicrous that we've known the outcome of this proceeding since day one and it affects every person in the country in their day to day lives.
What if Ajit swerves everyone and votes "no."
"what if donald trump was running as a joke and at the last minute he dropped out of the race" kinda optimism
Curious how the ones against the repeal are actually bringing up how millions are pissed about this.
Curious how the ones against the repeal are actually bringing up how millions are pissed about this.
We've been saying this since Ajit Pai got appointed but this really is saturday morning cartoon levels of villainy.
Are we fucked
Are we fucked
Its getting passed but we're not completely fucked yet.
this guy genuinely has the most punchable face in the history of mankind.
its going to hit the courts. so no, not yet.
Who should probably strike it down within 5 minutes. I mean, there's confirmed fraud with thousands of anti-NN comments and the FCC refuses to co-operate in the investigation. You don't need to be motherfucking Hercule Poirot to connect the dots here.
I don't hear words when he speaks, I just hear "duuurrr duuurrrr duurrrr, i'm a massive moron" Weird.
And what if it hits a judge who supports the repeal?
Any judge worth their salt wont go through with it based on the general consensus of the american people or risk public relations devastation, among everything that it entails.
What even is democracy
LOL when he just said about how companies are putting off packages and how it's worse for customers... Packages meaning paying for certain sites and getting shafted in prioritised bandwidth. Ajit is a fucking cunt who enjoys getting his ass widened by comcast and the likes.
the hell is going on right now
Advice of security? wtf
Oh shit, a security recess?
Did someone call in a bomb threat or something
Bomb threat. Calling it.
Uh oh, possible threat? A recess on advice of security?
Yup. This government was getting real ripe for this kind of shit to start getting through. I'm not holding my breath for a judge to strike this down at this point. Almost every branch seems to be filled with paid off fucktards all the way up. Time to deaden myself to the world so I don't think too hard about how stupid this is and drive myself to madness. :dead:
SOMETHING GOING DOWN WHAT
What's going on?
wait what's happening now?
Not really, courts have to decide if ISPs are utilities, then they have to decide what sort of leverage they'd have as utilities. Its going to be complex, but i feel any sane judge would rule in favor of the internet being a utility, as you effectively cant do anything without it.
Many american judges dont know what the internet is and these companies are big enough to buy them and cover it up
Someone called in a threat or something? They all left in a hurry after security?
Should the camera even be on for this?
"WITH NEW ACTIVITIES WE CAN'T FULLY GRASP YET LIKE HIGH-VOLUME BITCOIN MINING" What exactly are they planning?
