Oh god, out of curiosity I checked out his new "KO Gaming" channel, and noticed his most recent upload was this:

This poor man. Has to be some real desperation, to reupload the very content you fought so hard to remove.
Who the fuck does a 3 hour livestream based on someone's breakup.
They did a 7hr one (which wasn't planned to be that long but they'd kept uncovering new shit over time) about DSP's new, somewhat shady MCN, which from what they found, [sp]looked like an ongoing college project by some 21 yr old.[/sp]
It also went for that long because they were able to talk with former employees that worked with the guy in charge of a previous MCN. Which they unveiled quite a lot of info about the inner workings of MCN and stuff behind the scenes of YT and Google.
No seriously, it's nuts how much they found out with a little of poking around (simple shit like checking links that ended up broken or with inactive pages)
Its fucking long but it was glorious listening to the SoK cast getting their minds blown over time.

DSP is this kind of person that just doesn't give a shit about others as long as he keeps his head above water. It's sad really because once there is no one left to hold on, he'll drown.
I wouldn't say "deserved" but he definitely should've seen it coming and could have at least tried to be less of a an asshole towards others.
"Play stupid games, win stupid prizes" as some might say.
DSP deserves it. He's had the option to listen all this time but he was too busy stroking his own ego to pay attention to the people who have been trying to warn him about the precipice he's now treading years before he was anywhere near it.

Don't forget the 3 hour sequel to that where they got more people of said MCN to check in for interviews.
About a month ago if DSP is to be believed.
The SoK did a live stream on the whole thing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YT4tFwx2VJM
I'm surprised that it lasted that long. Still, PandaLee was kind of a dick to other people, and it seemed obvious that she was there because DSP was making bank on this and wanted a "cut" so to speak.
Stories of people like DSP and even bigger channels like H3H3 make me wonder if it's really smart at all to be creating a career through youtube without the intention of either going the vsauce route and making what's essentially a fully TV for a premium or eventually moving on from YouTube. I admit I'm no expert, but from what I can see while a lot of youtubers make a lot of money, the ones that aren't at the level of channels like Pewdiepie don't make enough that I could see them being able to retire once their current viewership moves on. At the same time, I don't see how someone could make videos their entire working lives and not get burned out by it.
Entertainment is just one of those things that is unreliable, Even if you try really hard you just might not be able to keep the fire going for your audience so you should have a plan of what you'll do if you hit a large decline.
I think finances are the worst place DSP fucked up at. When you listen to how he handled housing, cars, etc. you just have to feel like he's almost trying to ruin himself. Probably even worse for him is that if he tried to get another job he might find it difficult since an employer doing a cursory search will probably find his channel. And someone who has a chance of behaving anything like he does in his streams basically screams "HORRIBLE RISK." If he had done better at this he probably could have bailed out at a good time with some savings built up.

This is how you don't treat your ex

They are going to post videos making fun of him regardless, I guess he figures he may as well try to monetize them.
