Fucker picked up white plates but not cigs? The heck he doin?
probably a crafting recipe
it's a little strange how these leaks barely leak anything at all
probably a crafting recipe
In NV cigarette packs were basically the actual currency.
Man these look great but there is one thing about the gameplay that looks off to me. My first instinct is no Ambient occlusion? Stuff looks a bit bright or doesn't interact with light correctly. The animations are 10x better than fallout 3 and 4. And gunplay looks hella fun.

Holy crap that dog is so immersion breaking . In this (https://vid.me/Vw0n) video he just walks around on fire like its nothing in the middle of a gun fight. I'm probably end up knocking him out and never reviving him.
Oh god. Luck 10 perk; Ricochet: What goes around comes around! An enemies ranged attack will sometimes ricochet back and instantly kill them. The closer you are to death, the higher the chance is.
looks like fallout 3 with only new assets
these strike me as likely being intentional marketing leaks. In any case, it looks okay.
Those laser sounds are sharp and punchy af I like it
The red shooty gun? I have to say I was disappointed - to my ears it just sounds like a slightly more bassy gunshot
It's pretty eh. The combat seems improved with the use of those animations, but I can't get over how absurdly ugly the interiors are in the game. It seems that, even though the exterior utilizes things like dynamic shadows, interiors do not for some incomprehensible reason. Hopefully the PC version allows you to turn them on. Still not a fan of the voiced protagonist. It takes me out of the game and makes me feel like I am playing as a set character instead of playing as my own character. Then again, Witcher 3 is arguably one of the best RPGs ever made and it has you playing as a set character, so maybe this isn't a bad thing if done well. I noticed some recycled animations from Fallout 3 (notice the "head crippling" animation for NPCs. It is the exact same animation) which is crazy considering how ancient that game looks and feels. All in all, I'm not trying to be toxic or crash the hype train, but I think at this point we have let hype get the better of us. It looks like an upgraded Fallout 3, which is good, but not something worth frothing at the mouth over.
what's with this engine and objects not casting shadows literally nothing was casting a shadow in that house. is the engine just incapable of casting object shadows without shitting itself? it looks so bad and dated. they need to just let go of this shitty engine.
is anyone else just excited that a new fallout game is coming out and there will be tons of things to do in that world, even if some of it isn't that amazing and the graphics aren't that up to par? bethesda is always somehow behind the curve on gaming tech but honestly that doesn't take away from my experiencing of their ridiculously awesome detailed worlds.
what's with this engine and objects not casting shadows literally nothing was casting a shadow in that house. is the engine just incapable of casting object shadows without shitting itself? it looks so bad and dated
well you gotta sacrifice something for 1080p with 30 fps by how weak the new consoles are. :zing:
That's just how it is on the console versions
was this confirmed somewhere?
Considering mods for previous games 'fixed' the interiors hopefully they do the same. But then lighting in Gamebryo/Creation Engine games for interiors has been notoriously shit without some heavy work.
looks like fallout 3 with only new assets
It really doesn't.
is anyone else just excited that a new fallout game is coming out and there will be tons of things to do in that world, even if some of it isn't that amazing and the graphics aren't that up to par? bethesda is always somehow behind the curve on gaming tech but honestly that doesn't take away from my experiencing of their ridiculously awesome detailed worlds.
that's how almost everybody here feels, yes

It just feels like there's plenty of space available to change what should be very minor fixes.
I really like that the character looks at stuff and he knows whats inside the loot container No more waiting, just loot and go
That fucking armor and clothing. Aw yeah Fallout Fashion here we come.
Not really liking the animations on some of the guns while walking as it looks like awkward wiggling (especially with the laser rifle), but other than that im pumped.
was this confirmed somewhere?
Pete confirmed you'd have to download several key files through Steam to play it on PC.
Pete confirmed you'd have to download several key files through Steam to play it on PC.
plus even if you had all the files you could not play because its locked behind steam untill the release date.
Not really liking the animations on some of the guns while walking as it looks like awkward wiggling (especially with the laser rifle), but other than that im pumped.
Don't you know? Wiggly guns are the new big thing ever since Battlefield 3 perfected it. Obviously it helps convey motion if it looks like your gun is doing the worm. :v:

Obviously it helps convey motion if it looks like your gun is doing the worm. :v:
i kind of like it in a way, because it breaks up the monotony of walking where the gun or whatever usually just floats left and right a little sometimes it can be a bit overdone, but it breathes a bit of life into movement
i really hope there's a built-in UI tuner because the color of the UI is absolutely horrid like at least turn the alpha down, it's so overly neon it hurts my eyes
Oh my lord that gunplay. A really, really big improvement from 3 and NV.
i really hope there's a built-in UI tuner because the color of the UI is absolutely horrid like at least turn the alpha down, it's so overly neon it hurts my eyes
You can edit the UI down to the RGB.
