I really didnt like Halo 4. The story was...well idk what it was and the soundtrack sucked imo. This though, has my attention. Im trying right now to beat every Halo game in the MCC on Legendary. Halo 2 is currently kicking my ass.

And then the shitty writing was probably the worst of it. See the explanation above, the awful reveal of the forerunner, his shitty convoluted plot, everyone's illogical decisions, and then what might be the stupidest line in the entire halo franchise: "I can't imagine what you are going through", spoken by lasky to chief after cortana dies. Lasky, who is one of the few survivors of corbulo academy, who saw dozens of his friends die, who lost his odst brother, who had chyler fucking die in his arms, tells chief that he can't imagine what it must feel like to lose a computer program.
Fuck halo 4.

Ok i agree with most of that but Master Chief is a different type of Spartan that psychologically needed Cortana to be stable because of the way he was trained hes devoid of any human interaction and a computer program was all he had. (at least i hope what im saying is true, i remember reading that somewhere...)
Naw, chief saw cortana as just a mission critical machine, at least at first. He may have come to depend on her for getting through alive, but He certainly wouldn't fall in love with her.

Chief was not really any different psychologically than any other spartan 2
I've loved Halo since the first game, didn't like 4, thought it was the weakest of the Halo games, like its an okay game, just not good enough to be Halo. Halo 5 looks A LOT better than 4, but, I don't think it will beat the originals, but it still looks good.
